Frozen Vizio logo hints to bad T-con. Try unplugging and plugging the T-con back in, see if you get a new frame.

And there are voltage regulators on the t-con boards as well.

If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.

We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.

Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

Yes, I've had one fail before. It made the screen go black with only a few faint multicoloured lines, although it did work fine once on its own accord after a car journey - so I suspect a loose die bonding or temperature sensitivity.

Thanks for all the replies guys! These Vizio's seem to be like trash. None of them are even a year and a half old. I think these might have already been tampered with though because one of these has a Delta power board, all nichicon and Rubycon

Eh, they seem to be okay in the power supply area (usually have good caps on Delta boards in Vizios from what I have seen), but they cheap out on the main board components and the firmware seems to be poorly written.

Almost all of them are LG boards packed full of Sam Young's that are usually bulging. But yeah, the Main boards seem to be the main issue. The T-con board connected to the screen looks really simple, what could possibly go wrong on those?

What could possibly go wrong? You have much to learn...

Shorted MLCC is a favourite - can sometimes cause other weird faults on other parts of the TV
Randomly blown fuse (happened to me)
Dead ASIC has bitten someone here (frozen picture, first frame only)
Dead RAM, causing weird flickering green lines (happened to me)
Dead LDO, causing single pixel lines on black screen (happened to me)
Shorted MOSFET blowing fuse, leading to low 15V, leading to damage to other parts of T-con (happened to me)
Loss of backlight sync - result: no backlight
Loose driver flex, causing lines on 1/4 or 1/2 of display
Low 5V causing T-con to lock up screen with random lines (happened to me)
                ...

Maybe I'm not looking at the right thing, would it have two ribbons going from the main board to it? there's hardly anything on it
And good, I want to learn as much as my brain will allow me
Both of the fuses on the main board tested good
