I found a continuity link between the 3rd leg of the AQU125 and a CM1685A which is a voltage regulator. I have attached a redlined picture of the part. There were several pins around the part that beeped. There was also continuity to several caps and at least one diode. I could not find a Data Sheet on CM1685A, but was able to find several suppliers for the part. Neither Digikey nor Mouser carry it so no Data Sheets from them. I have emailed the only US company that carries it hoping they will send me a link to the PDF. Hopefully it will tell us what the AQU125 is.

uP0109: 2A Ultra Low Dropout Linear Regulator equivalent substitute

Hello everyone,
I want to find a replacement for uP0109 8pins, and i found this parts:

uP0109 is "2A Ultra Low Dropout Linear Regulator"
RT9199 is "Cost-Effective, 2A Peak Sink/Source Bus Termination Regulator"
FP6137C is "2A BUS TERMINATION REGULATOR"

can replace uP0109 by RT9199 or FP6137C ?

diy - voltage injection possiblity with voltage and ampere regulator - possiblity ?

hello ,for diy voltage injector for short killer/finder -- is it possible to use something like this - LM317 DC Linear Regulator, DC-DC 4.5~40V Turn 1.2~37V, Step Down Power Module, Adjustable

and ampere controller along (to make it zero amps ) with some addons(transistors diodes etc.) for it -- and use some 5v adaptor or 3.3v volt rail of my smps power supply as input and finally get 1v and zero amps for injecting voltage to find out short circuit component ? ..
for source input -- can we use 3.3 -4 volt 18550 battery ?( i have some of those ) and then adding ampere regulator...

Help identifying voltage regulator on this concept 2 pm5 monitor pcb board?

This Concept 2 rower pm5 monitor doesn't shut down. It keeps turning on and stays on after being turned off. I read on another forum by another user that replaced the same component to check the voltage regulator.
The monitor should pull around 35mA when turned on and in shutdown it should drops to around 0.060mA. Any advice on finding the voltage regulator on this board to check if it needs to be replaced?

What cable to connect from Power Supply Regulator

Hi everyone,
I'm still newbie and want to start up the shop for motherboard repairing. Need help what cable to connect from psu variable or regulator to any motherboard that we repairing? Any cable names? Since i already order the power supply regulator. From that, i can check the current and voltage go inside motherboard.
