    Maxent MX42HMP20 snow

I have replaced the power board with the same model# and adjusted the Vs and Va to spec, which are Vs 195 and Va 65. I still have snow just not as bad as before the power supply adjustment. I cannot find the voltage specs and test points for the xsus and ysus. Also ysus has 4 potentiometers whereas the zsus has 1.

    Re: Maxent MX42HMP20 snow

This is the same chassis as the LG 42PC1D. The problem is with the control board; it needs a firmware update, to fix the "sparklies" problem which plagues these TVs.

LG 42PC3 buffer output doesn't follow YSUS
      by legg
LG42PC3D -UD originally with green lamp but no display or audio.
Owner says was working, then went 'pop'.
      All 5V caps bulging. replaced.
All PSU output voltages within spec but -Vy is low on YSUS.
One of three parallel fets between SUS_OUT and SUS_DN is zenering,
eventually shorts DG. Replaced all 3 - -Vy now OK.

Y scan buffer test point does not follow YSUS output below -50V

Note: This unit seems to expect YSUS output to park at -Vy in between
drive signal pattern periods. A replacement drive signal board confirms this....

Help repair this relic? Philips 42PF7220A/37, pulsing buzz from YSUS
      by Truncatedhose
      Greetings all!

Originally this set had the usual messed up video symptoms such as: horizontal lines, weak, grainy video, bottom and top of picture differ in intensity of problem. It also seemed to slow to turn on or show the messed up picture.

Seemed like must be YScan/buffer board failure. Ordered buffer boards from my distributor which were supposed to be original/new and also from another distributor, I ordered the YSUS because I wanted to replace it for preventative maintenance. (also, the YSUS had a bulged cap, so there was even more reason to suspect it could...

      eax61319402 50PJ350 YSUS
      by zwarder
      Hi
      Had shorted YSUS

      Q24 RPJ63F3
      C726 cap
      Q11 K3667
      R528 & R529 2.2 ohm

replaced all of these but still trips psu VS & VA are a bit low when ysus disconnected. IC301 does look a bit burnt however

ZSUS is also good as far as I can tell

Anyone could help me out on this one

Snow on screen and no start Do I have to replace my CF53-MK2
      by kilog
      Hello friends,

Last week when I tryed to start my CF53-MK2 it just stop starting
and when it starts it displays snow and dansing and coloured lines on the sreeen as you can see in the attached video.

Some time it may show the startup Bios screen for a 3 to 10 seconds and then immediatly starts to disply snow and coloured lines.

I tested the RAM it is correct.
I tried to hook the machine on a HDMI screen, nothing.
I am not sure that the computer goes far to be able to show anything on an additional monitor.

      Please I need your...

SCHLEUNIGER CO207 - Potentiometers on the PCB out of adjustment. How to set them?
      by bpjl
      Hi,

I need help setting up the cable stripper - Schleuniger CO207.

After contacting Schleuniger directly and their distributor for Poland - Kabeltch, I received 2 PDFs with instructions/documentation. Many thanks to both companies for this help. In these PDFs there are instructions for setting up and calibrating individual components of the device, but my problem lies on the PCB.
Well, the person who used this device before turned all five potentiometers on the PCB, which caused the Schleuniger CO207 to go crazy. Of course, no one knows how...
