OK, you do not have the PS_ON signal from the main baord when you trun on the TV, that is why the PFC and the 12/24 Vdc power supply do not turn on. So we need to find out where the fault is on the main board.

OK, picture#3 post 54, CN101 Pin 11 is PS_ON PIN, please check the voltage onthat pin, it should be around 3VDC or higher when TV is switched on.
It is 0.0V using common to ground pin on that connector and also to the ground screw by the AC Input.

Copper is showing thru.
The repairs look ok and the scratch is not a problem. Its getting late here now, Im off to bed. If you get a chance check out the trace damage if there is any, by doing an ohms test between joints along the trace.

Attached are the pictures you wanted. Kind of gloomy outside today so I hope this is clear enough.
On the Inverter Connector picture Pin one is at the top.

On the Main Board Connector Pin one is at the bottom.

Anyway whilst looking I did find what appeared to be two broken traces. it may be the picture or shadow but please can you check where marked in attached.

The Cap is fine, if you look at the diagram, when you put in that Diode backward, the diode was never turn on, it was in reverse bias mode. you are OK, no need to change that cap.

Ok the part # for the PF IC is LTA100 over PQU18 (could not find a datasheet under either number. I will check DigiKey and Mouser to see if I get a hit on either number.

Part # for SMPS IC is: L6599AD
    Data Sheet is: https://cdn.badcaps-static.com/pdfs/...d758189067.pdf

@TOM, the cap should be OK, since the Didoe is put in backward, the diode never conducts. You can see the diagram I made.
Killian, you may want to recheck all the parts you have installed, just to be sure.

Decided to check the Vizio light on the front. It is steady Orange where I had no light before. Must be some progress. However, there are no backlights or nothing changes when I push the power button. At this time all the boards are connected to each other.

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
    by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

    Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

    More Details

Got the same exact TCON board from TVPartsToday and replaced it. But didnt transfer the EPPROM data (didnt...

    Sony xbr-65x900c main board issues?
    by jb_Bak
Hey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.

Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:
Power Board Connector that goes to Main board
    CN6401
    Pin 01 NC
    Pin 02 NC
    Pin 03 "BL_ON": 0V
    Pin 04 "N/C"
    Pin 05 "STBY 3.3V": 3.5V
    Pin 06 "GND": N/C
    Pin 07 "AC_OFF"...

Panasonic switching power supply daughter board has two 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors which I do not keep in stock
    by sam_sam_sam
I did not have any 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors but one nice thing is that it has enough room for two capacitors in parallel a 22uf and a 4.7uf @ 50 volts 22 plus 4.7 equals 26.7uf which so very close to 27uf I will show some pictures of it sometime tomorrow

This is one of the shit est boards I seen in a very long time and it was the daughter board the traces just lifting off the board I had to use the capacitor leads to repair the the traces and the main board is not any better because I had to repair several traces for the daughter board to the main board

    After all of...
