    Panasonic 50" Plasma

Hi...I just joined the forum and it looks like alot of info is available here.I have a background in servicing electronics and still like to tinker abit.It was many years ago but now it seems you replace boards instead of individual components.I have a TC-P50U2 that is just off the one year warranty. It's not my own but they already purchased another and I thought I would give it a go.

Tv works fine for about 10 minutes and then lines start appearing on the bottom and eventually there are full blocks of red and cyan. Also a single red line across the middle.
    Thanks for any advice.

i would suggest trying the connectors along the lower edge of the panel if it has lower buffers, never seen a buffer that didnt make halfway of the screen though, could be a possible bad screen issue. unsure on this one, never seen this exact thing before. also i would check va and vs voltages to be on the sure side.

just found the manual, the boards across the bottom are c1,c2 and c3. it could be the line supplying them too. you can get the ser manual here.
