    Sansui SV-EPD-4240BP

Was struck by lightning - December 24, 2011.
Insurance wants a report if to pay.
Set has power and sound but no screen.
Y and Z boards seem to have power, too.
    Heat sinks get warm.
    I have no diagram.
I inspected it to see if it would be a minor fault.
Should I report it as uncertain or uneconomical to repair and charge the customer for labour?

Repair of equipment that was the victim of a lightning strike is always highly uncertain. I'd report it as uneconomical to repair due to lack of troubleshooting information and parts availablility - Sansui seems to be no longer producing HDTVs.
