      Oh well can't win them all least I got 2 years out of this.

      Installed the Capacitor and found out I had to replace the 450v's
      installed the 450's and powered it on sparks and burning smell quickly turned it off.

      I found out I put a polarity around the wrong way for one.
      blew a chip and I am unsure what chip it could be with out a schematic to make me the right choice on ordering a new one.

      I am so f'n pissed off not sure why the fuse didn't do its job.

      So this tv is probably worth going to the tip, it didn't even have a digital tv tuner just analog. awww well 2 years was good... going to miss pointing the remote at it.

        There's a saying in electronics - the semiconductors often protect the fuse...

          SANSUI SLEDSC-32HD TV not booting, No stand-by led
          by Neddsme
          I have a 32 inch Sansui android TV that stopped booting. i checked the motherboard for any power failures but it seemed OK to the best of my knowledge. The TV does not have a dedicated power supply board so i could not do any isolation but here is a list of all the things i think were relevant to test.
          if i missed anything you let me know;
          DDR (1.5V) = 1.484V
          VDDC = 1.000V
          VDDC_CPU = 1.151V
          VDD1V2_DM = 0.000V
          3V3_STB = 3.315V
          3V3_M = 3.307V
          1.8V_M = 1.803V
          ALL KEYS = 3.310V
          5V_STB = 5.142V
          5V ...

          Sansui G-7700 receiver blows fuse
          by woaimi
          A colleague gave me this Sansui receiver. He mentioned it was still playing until recently (couple weeks ago) lost its power and he thinks it blew the fuse. I brought is home opened up and sure enough the 10A fuse is blown. I found a spare one at home put it in and instantly blew that one too. I'm hoping some experienced users here would direct me in the right direction to bring this nice piece of art back to life. Having read through some posts in the other forum regarding this receiver, I realized this is not an easy task but possessing a nice Sansui G-7700 and learning new skill that what got...

          Pioneer PD-F1007 CD player not reading
          by Xabi
          Hi guys, I need some help with a CD player. It is a pioneer PD-F1007

          The issue is that it doesn't play any disks. The disk gets loaded, spins up, but it doesn't actually plays. Just keeps spinning until I stop it.

          If I put in the CD the wrong way, it will eject it quite quickly, so the unit at least understands that a CD is in and if it's in the correct orientation, tries to read it, but for some reason it can't.

          I started with cleaning the lens to be sure, but ofc that didn't help. Also the laser is ligthing up at least, so it's not totally...

          I have Sansui amplifier AU9500,, no sound, I found fuse 2 amperes, 7 amperes burns, I found too 3.3 uf 100 volts completly bulging under driver board, 1 transistor output 2SA679 shorted,and I found too the 4 capacitors 4700UF 63 volts they have not good value, I changed all these components and one of 2 capacitors 3.3 uf 100 volts is going very hot after 30 seconds, do I have power supply problem?
