I have a 32 inch Sansui android TV that stopped booting. i checked the motherboard for any power failures but it seemed OK to the best of my knowledge. The TV does not have a dedicated power supply board so i could not do any isolation but here is a list of all the things i think were relevant to test.
if i missed anything you let me know;
DDR (1.5V) = 1.484V
VDDC = 1.000V
VDDC_CPU = 1.151V
VDD1V2_DM = 0.000V
3V3_STB = 3.315V
3V3_M = 3.307V
1.8V_M = 1.803V
ALL KEYS = 3.310V
5V_STB = 5.142V
5V = 5.140V
RED = 1.313V
GRN = 0.000V
IR = 4.060V
12V = 12.130V
BCKLT = 0.000V
VCC to LCD board = 0.000V
so far this is what i was able to measure on test points and caps. The VCC to LCD was measured on the single cable that goes to the LCD flex board, on 3 Red wires that seemed to be the power wires.
So far pressing the power switch, the 3.3v signal gets pulled-low normally, but nothing happens. there is no backlight, no turning on/off of stand-by light, no indication of anything happening. anything to do with the LCD or power-on sequence does not happen.
There was some indication of some software update prompts months prior to the eventual state. but i havent tried any flashing/ software related things.
this is my first encounter with a bricked android TV so any help would be much appreciated.
