    ILO TV32HD solving Mainboard Problem?

Have a very used ILO 32HD model TV.

Problems, started that the set would not turn on the PS_A line.
Per info on the web, I jumped the PS_A line and set turned on.
For 3 hours ran fine, I was able to use the remote to function everything, BUT noticed that when using remote, the picture would flash with every key press.
The top panel buttons however, no good. I see they are using a resistor per key method, for those functions.

After 3 hours use, now the set is stuck in Composite and 1/2 volume.
    No remote response anymore.
Turned off for a day, tried again, still no response.
So I have looked up online to discover mainboard on these all need to be replaced with an updated version that has a heat sink on the processor, etc.
I have searched and cannot find anyone having a new or used part. And of course it would be pointless to buy a used one since they all fail the same way.

What I am wondering is if anyone has come across a solution of replacing part(s) of the mainboard to make the remote and top keys to function again.
It would not seem as though the processor could fail to run although some seem to say the data lines are at fault. It would be cool if someone knew what the factory did to change the failed boards into the revised ones.
Sadly now I have a nice paperweight or a monitor that is stuck in composite mode. I want to just switch it over to DVI mode to use as a computer monitor, although it may not be the best choice. (Set is only 720P) but it seems to show in the spec to be ok as a computer monitor.
Then all I would need is a DVI cable to hook it up.
Could care less about using the speakers, or anything else.

Does anyone know how to erase the locked up condition long enough to get the remote to respond? I had it in DVI mode during those 3 hours of use, and it seems to remember to stay in the last mode even when unplugged.

So if anyone has any more insight on this, appreciate.

I am having the same issue with a ILO-26HD tv. The only way I've had any luck is to do a complete discharge (Hold the power button down for 30 seconds with it unplugged). As far as the board goes or a work around so far I have found nothing. Best of luck I will keep you posted on my progress as well.

The main boards for ilo have been updated but are hard to find. mostly the 26".

I was able to find a couple that were new and updated. I have repaired one that I found had a bad 3.3v regulator.

There are several on these main boards. ( regulators) These will fail low like 2.7 volts.
