You need to verify if the back light is flashing on briefly by going into a dark room or by turning the lights out. Look closely through the holes around the edges of screen and press the power button again. If the back light comes on and goes off, I am suspecting the main board has an issue. If the back light does not come on at all, then the power supply/ inverter board has an issue.

You checked the standby voltage to be at 10.6 volts. It is high. Just make sure that you are using a good ground screw on the board for your black lead and the red lead to connect to the three 5v pins. You can check to see if you have voltage at the power button. It should be close to 5 volts and when pressed it will read 0 or zero volts. This will tell if the standby voltage is passing through the main board. If it is, then test ON/OFF pin on power supply for a signal. This signal, coming from the main board, will tell the power supply to turn on or off. Your meter may not be fast enough to read any voltage since the tv might shutdown just as soon as you turn it on.

You definitely have a power supply/inverter board problem. The 10.6v should be around 5v for standby. You could fix it in two ways. First, by finding the faulty component(s) and replacing them. Some possible areas of concern would be capacitors and regulators. Second, replace the entire board. You can find entire board at Tri-State Module for $42.95 plus shipping and comes with a 6 month warranty.

The caps look ok visibly, could the problem be internal? Where are the reulators located on the power supply?

I don't know the part numbers on the regulators, but I think that one of them is for 12v and the other is for 5v. See attachment on location.

No Power problem with Vizio E60-E3
                  by rajbot
                  Hi all:

I have a Vizio E60-E3 I am trying to troubleshoot a no power problem with. Thanks to the help on this board and elsewhere, I was pretty sure I had narrowed it to a power board problem. The board in question is a 09-60CAP0D0-00. Image attached for reference, but not of my board (tv is put away at the moment). FWIW, no obvious looking issues with the board.

I measured voltage at power in and on the fuse and saw 120V, so power is getting to the board.

On the pins out to the main board, I got no voltage at all on any of the pins. I assumed this...

Problem with LG Plasma 60PM6700 - Random power downs
                  by theone111
I have an LG Plasma TV 60PM6700 for the past ~12 years.

In the last ~3-4 months I have been having some issues.
                  1. Problem: It started with random picture disappearing (sound still worked).
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait a few seconds before turning it on again.
                  2. Problem: Then it got worse and the TV started to shut down and when turning on the no picture just sound.
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait about 10-20 seconds and turn it on again to solve.
                  3. Problem: TV shuts down

                  i have a problem with thinkpad X1 carbon gen 2 "LMQ-1MB 12298-2 48.4LY26.021"
The laptop was turned off because the MOSFET was not transmitting voltage. After checking it turned out that the gate pin on the MOSFET was the problem, because it was producing an inappropriate voltage. and it was discovered that the problem was with the Think engine, so I decided to reprint each pin, and finally the mosfet could work properly. However, there is another problem, even though the voltage has been supplied to the laptop, it still won't turn on, there isn't even an LED indicator. After double...

                  Vizio M60-C3 Left Edge problem
                  by Pinky Deepak
I have a M60-C3 where the left edge has started showing issues as seen in the picture attached. Along with this, I also noticed some darkening on the left half of the screen which went away after I left the TV unplugged. i initially thought it was the led backlight that was wearing out but looks like something to do w the TCONN board. I searched this forum but couldn't find anyone else seeing this issue. most of them were LH/RH completely gone. any insights or guidance is appreciated.

Here's a video of both the issues: https://youtu.be/hMqc760nB3o
