I have a sony KLV-10U100M that powers up fine, backlight's fire up and stay lit and that's as far as it goes. I was told the sound still worked but i haven't verified it myself. From what i've been researching this could possibly be from a bad lcd controller/tcon board. Just wanted to see if anyone had any insight before i ordered the board.

Also want to say when tv is on it's just a lit black screen and the menu, volume, and channel buttons do nothing when pressed. -

OK, dug a little deeper and the fuse F1 is blown on the Tcon board. I have ordered a new board for $50 on ebay and i'm hoping this will fix my set. I have posted a pic of the fuse.Attached FilesComment
