    Re: Dynex DX-LCD32 Power Board

According to this site, D920 should be an MMBD4148, which is the smd version of 1N4148, your basic small-signal diode. Shouldn't be too hard to source, just make sure you get the similar-sized package variant.

Just to make sure, check the datasheet to confirm pin assignment (which way the anode / cathode of the diode are pointing)

      Re: Dynex DX-LCD32 Power Board

I recently was given a DYNEX DX-LCD32 television and found that the R976 is burned out. This, from what I've learned from the other posts, is a fuse. I feel this is the answer, but can't find one. I see you,BLKSmth have some. How do I reach you to have you send me one(or2) ? I just signed into this site and I can't seem to get the private message part to work.

          Re: Dynex DX-LCD32 Power Board

I am pretty sure this is not a power problem but I have a Dynex DX-LCD32-09 tv that all of the sudden started with some serious display issues. The top third or quarter of the screen has (I think) reversed color in the image and the bottom 2/3-3/4 has vertical stripes.

I have looked through the forums and although there is not a specific reference to this model, it looks like similar display issues may be associated with the T-com board. Does that sound accurate to you? I have attached a couple of pictures.

Although I have replaced the color wheel and light bulbs in our DLP TV, I have not worked on the LCD's. Is replacing the T-Com board something feasible for me to do? and are these parts readily available at a cost that makes this even worth doing? The manufacture date is 2008. I have serial number and lot number if that is helpful.

Try flexing the screen/frame to so if the symptom will change.
