    Unplug tv plug back in, turn off lights take a strong flashlight on the middle of the screen and hit power on. Look for any sign of picture, if it's been 1 min and no picture, hit settings button on remote, then look for picture. Report back

        When in stand by there must be a red light on the front. If not the backlight could be faulty but also the mainboard could be the culprit. Easy to check is the 12V on the t-con fuse and many other known voltages.

          No red lights in front but only at the lower side of the panel the philips white logo lit only.the 12v on t Con is missing on fuse .the fuse is good.i am thing the problem is on the main bord.

            Google for "55PUS7909 firmware" and you will find a lot of links. When the mainboard is faulty I don't think that a firmware update will help. Most of the times the EMMC is at the end of it's life.

              Yeah William1967 i found one and a try several times with a firmware but still no luck.

              the best way is to replace main board if customer accepts

              Thanks a lot for your help

                Hi Lanada

                The TV main board does it have a Board Number printed on it that starts with "TP" or "RSAG" or a bar code number. If you have not come right yet help me with that and I will see how I can assist. From my experianse it seems like a powersupply fault.

                Here is a link to follow: https://techprofet.com/philips-tv-wont-turn-on/

                Hope there is light after this.

                regards

                  Philips 58PUS7805/12 showed no picture; after T-Con replacement, shows halo
                  by Rauni
                  Hello, this is my first post on this forum, and my first attempted to repair a TV.

                  My Philips 58PUS7805/12 stopped working recently. It is not that old, about 5 years. We were on a trip for a few days and when we came back, it had stopped working out of a blue (Perhaps our house was hit by a lightning strike? Don't know.)

                  Read from a guide that I should test if the screen shows picture with one of the T-Con cables disconnected. Did that, it showed perfect picture (first on left, later on right side).

                  Read also that we should test what happens if we...

                  Samsung UE75TU7020k No picture, Standby blinks 2 times
                  by brithepi2k
                  My Samsung UE75TU7020k lights up fine when one of the ribbon cables are disconnected from the main board, lights stay on but not getting half a picture, I do the same with the other ribbon and put the other one in and lights stay on but not getting half a picture. The standby light flashes 2 times then reboots then it then tries to come back on again and just keeps looping until I take either one of the ribbon tables out (doesn’t matter which one I take out it stays lit when either one is out). I’ve tested the backlights but all working with none shorting out, I’ve replaced the main board...

                  Philips 243v5lhsb00 Monitor Picture too bright
                  by Schwoin
                  Hey everyone,

                  the picture on my philips monitor looks way too bright so that black appears grey and colors also seem too bright.

                  While i tried to tilt the screen a little bit while it was displaying a picture, i´ve noticed, that there appeared some purple pixels. In the following picture
                  you can see them on the top half of the photo.

                  At a certain point during the tilting, the picture looked normal again but as soon as i laid it back down, the purple pixels were gone and the picture was bright again.

                  Philips 37pfl560: Yellow picture
                  by madyoyo
                  HI.

                  I have a weird problem with an old Philips 37pfl560 TV i put out of storage: the picture have a noticeable yellow hue, and its not caused by the settings (did a factory reset). I've never seen this before. I will try to get a photo with a real camera, with my phone its hard to see because of automatic white balance, but in real live the whites are really yellow.

                  Anyone have an idea of what can cause this? Can CCFL tubes get "warmer" with time? This tv have several analog inputs,so its nice for retrogaming....

                  Philips TV 37pfl5604h/12 no standby voltage
                  by Bad_IC

                  Hello,
                  I have a problem with this TV, the standby voltage is not present. I have checked the components around the IC fsq510's area and they seem to work, also replaced this IC but the problem persists.
                  These are the voltages in some pins of IC fsq510:
                  Vcc=18v
                  D=320v
                  Vstr=154v
                  Unfortunately, I couldn't find the schematic
                  What else could I check?
                  Is it possible to provide standby voltage from an external source to allow the TV to turn on?
                  Thank you...
