    Tried to find L2302 to check eMMC V. During search I found L2322 is burned (resistance 440Ohms), which is output for 1.2V

    Is it ok to bride the coil for testing purposes or better replace with some other SMD coil?

    lowV start signal is available on all the regulators, as well as VDD 12V. I've checked this already. Means input is ok for all voltages, but output not for low voltage.
    Looks like something grounds/overlay the output-signal...
    Output IC3000 => Voltage Regulation IC => Result
    POWER_ON/OFF1 => IC2304 5V => +5V_NORMAL OK
    POWER_ON/OFF2_1 => IC2301 3.3V => +3.3V_NORMAL OK
    POWER_ON/OFF2_2 => IC2302 2.5V => +2.5V_Normal OK
    POWER_ON/OFF2_3 => IC2303 1.5V => NOK PWM/rectangle signal with ~650kHz and 12V Peak
    POWER_ON/OFF2_3 => IC2300 1.0V => NOK PWM/rectangle signal with ~340kHz and 12V Peak
    POWER_ON/OFF2_4 => IC3409 1.2V => NOK PWM/rectangle signal with ~500kHz and 12V Peak

    Attached a picture from the scope with one of the regulator outpts...
    we do know the input are fine.. you did run PSU standalone...
    IC3000 from its behavior are fine for me.. we need to consider on emmc V and IC1000 V.
    you can start to capture the start log via JTAG..

    First question: You think about feeding additional external low voltage into the mainboard to bypass the voltage regulators?

    Second question: what about the missing blue color in panel test mode? Could it be also a panel problem? How to test? If panel is dead I would not spend additional time...

    Ok, I'm going back to my original diagnoses, reflow the bga.

    IC3000 on LG are MICOM, had his own script and controlled too with main firmware start script. you should have micro switch to reset it... it could help..
    other wise repairing MB not easy task even for LG service center

    follow the service manual ab page 31 and feed it with low V and to check low V are working fine

    Nothing because T-CON doesn't receive PANEL_VCC from MB. Thats why i've hooked up it directly to see if panel and T-CON are ok...
    PANEL_VCC will be enabled by Q2303 with PANEL_CTL signal from IC3000, but signal is not coming (as well as DRV_ON from IC3000)...

    I expect IC3000 is "waiting" for some other signals until releasing DRV_ON and PANEL_CTL....maybe related to the missing lower voltages on MB...

    Update on next round: First I've disconnected the T-Con from MB. Then hooked up 12V to T-CON F1 and also forced DRV_ON and POWER_ON.
    BL lights up and Panels cycles White/Red/Green...nothing, i would expect blue. Only a break (for blue) then starting from the beginning.

    To rule out BL finally i also stripped the TV down afterwards, edgelight is working pretty well. No dark LEDs, burned spots or anything like that. Put everything together again...

    My conclusion => T-CON has at least a problem (Blue color is missing)

    That was my first thought too Diah, It's 49 inches, I would have already had it tore down and be inspecting the leds quite closely.

    put yours DM on T_CON Fuse 12V with Ref to TV chassis , then turn on did you have any reading?

    Well then that looks like your problem, mainboard not sending drv_on signal, so no backlights.

    Maybe I've missunderstood. I've disconnected T-CON from the Mainboard. But reading carefully, you mean disconnect the panel from T-CON ...
    Tried again.... same result as before. Also in combination with disconnected speakers & wifi module...

    Desoldering gun station modified to use a 18 volt @ 20 amp switching power supply
    by sam_sam_sam
    I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

    One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...

    Modification to a ZD-987 desoldering/soldering station using a external switching power supply
    by sam_sam_sam
    I have been working on this concept for quite some time now with limited success but recently I found a switching power supply that is setup for the voltage that this soldering station needs to operate at however it also needs part of the secondary circuit from the original switching power because you need several voltage rails

    I once tried to get a ZD-915 desoldering station to work on a 18 volt battery power supply but unfortunately things did not go well but I did find a work around but I might try this idea again but going at a little differently more about this another time...

    Samsung UE75TU7020k No picture, Standby blinks 2 times
    by brithepi2k
    My Samsung UE75TU7020k lights up fine when one of the ribbon cables are disconnected from the main board, lights stay on but not getting half a picture, I do the same with the other ribbon and put the other one in and lights stay on but not getting half a picture. The standby light flashes 2 times then reboots then it then tries to come back on again and just keeps looping until I take either one of the ribbon tables out (doesn’t matter which one I take out it stays lit when either one is out). I’ve tested the backlights but all working with none shorting out, I’ve replaced the main board...

    by cekanayake
    I am a noob with some elementary knowledge trying to fix this TV that I have no history on. Any help or guidance will be much appreciated.
    When I first examined it was completely dead. saw that the fuse was blown and the ICM801CS blown. I searched and found that the FSFR1800HSL might be the replacement and got one from ebay and replaced it. But when I pulled the ICM801CS I could see the last 3 letters on the blown up part was XSL. So may be I replaced it with the incorrect part. I fixed the fuse and turned it on and it now gives me a standby light blinking twice five times, then clicks...

    LG UH8500 Backlight Troubleshooting Help
    by htv239
    Hello,

    I am currently troubleshooting an LG 60UH8500 TV (2016 TV). Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Overall Issue: When TV is turned on, backlights all come on for about 10 seconds, then all go out. There is sound and there is a picture on the display (obviously hard to see without backlights, but it is there).

    What I Have Done So Far: 1) Removed the back TV cover to expose the boards (Power Supply, Tcon, and Main), 2) blew out any dust and cleaned all connections, 3) Noticed that the LED backlights are fed from two separate connectors...
