Looking for schematic for Vizio M75-C1 or similar

anything M with C1 at the end would work giving some hints

.. it looks like another motherboard yet again .. did reflow with rework gun and very little changed .. the bottom processor turns on but the top one only at random along with the T-con and no backlights .. also looked at the buck converters and regulators on the mainboard .. they look to have normal voltages .. the white power light on the bottom corner flickers at random .. sometimes it turns on sometimes not when I cycle the AC supply

.. next ESR on caps and look for shorted MLCC's .. not having a schem or reference voltages is so irritating .. I should prob check Norcal

.. the power boards supply their normal voltages except the power to the t-con and backlights .. all controlled by the mainboard .. cannot find the ps-on trigger for those two supplies .. will have to pull it and look closer

It’s the mainboard BGA chip. I’ve never had a different problem with the Vizio M series.
Sometimes reflow doesn’t work or the previous owners try to bake them in the oven and mess something up.

Try reflowing again. Did you remove heatsinks?

Re: Looking for schematic for Vizio M75-C1 or similar

yes i did that .. after more messing with it the backlight and t-con voltages do fire up every second restart so all the voltages and supplies are working but I dont even see a flicker on the screen under a strong lamp .. the voltages all pop up and the bottom corner white power light starts and nada

.. I removed the heat sink all the thermal compound and cleaned the chips and reflowed again .. decided to go a little hotter 440degF about two minutes and still the same thing

.. at this point I am on the fence if it still a BGA problem after reflowing 3x and may start inspecting each chip and cap on the mainboard and start checking signals with the scope

.. people try to bake it? there are plastic connectors all over the edge that would destroy it for sure

440f isn’t hot enough to reflow. Solder doesn’t melt at 440. Also if you got the backlights to work indicates the BGA chip is the problem

Lead free solder melts at around 218c/424F.
However you need to set the heat on your hot air station much higher due to the surrounding air being cold and the board absorbing heat also.
          Are you using flux ?

            Vizio P65 with P55 mainboard
            by maricm
IH all, Got this vizio tv P65-E1 from FB marketplace hoping to be able to reflow mainboard as selerrstated that it was diagnosed with bad mainboard. However they must have tried to repair tv by putting another board in and they put P55 board in .
Tv starts and responds to remote but screen does not look right , It looks like low resolution with some image ghosting. Now not having original board I dont know what to order ? Any advice how to figure out what exact board fits this tv ?
And another question Would it be possible to adopt this board to this tiv by chagning eeprom or tcon...

Vizio P65-E1 No Activities - Voltages oK
            by jason123
            Hello guys,
I'm thinking it's bad main board, but I'd love any thoughts or things to try - the board is a couple hundred $$$ and I'd like to be sure before replacing.

So I got this TV dead - no standby LED or screen activity or backlight.

Voltages to main board are on (not sure what the level should be, but here is the connector's (PS CN9102) voltages:
            PS_ON: 4.91V
            +VA = 18.79 V
            +VM = 18.82 V

I spot check voltages on the LED Controller board, and all the large upper inductors have about 9.4V on one or the other side....

Powersupply has all the voltages - Monitor still no power
            by Capacitorial
            Hello guys,

I have a Philips 240B7QPJEB. The monitor seems completely dead.
I opened it and measured the voltages of the powersupply. I found that a mosfet was dead and replaced it.
On the connector, that goes to the TCON board, all voltages 15-19V and 5V are present.
The small connector on the left of the PSU has two cables with 18V and all the other have 0.2V. It connects on this small connector on the left ontop of the panel. I guess the backlight? Seens fine I guess.
The weird thing is, that the Power LED is powered over the TCON board.
            On The TCON...

Samsung UE46F6400AWXXC not powering on, standby LED off
            by UltimateNeutrino
Hello, since yesterday our Samsung UE46F6400AWXXC no longer powers on, with the standby LED off. It turned off when someone attempted to clean it, not sure if related. A few days ago, there was a similar issue, but it was solved after unplugging and replugging the power. Additionally, another user of this TV reported issues of the screen turning off randomly, which were solved changing the channel.

I originally suspected the PSU, but if the mainboard is unplugged the PSU relay closes and the backlight turns on. It's only when the mainboard is connected that the relay doesn't close...

            PSU BOARD: 40-L402H8-PWD1CG
it shows not even a flash of backlight when powering up.
but the tv appeas to turn on and i can hear the sound of the menus moving and clicking. i can power down the tv with the button.
testing the backlights with my tester all 4 strings lit up and showed similar voltage drops. around 110 or so.
unplug mb and leave only psu plugged into backlights (PSU + BL SELF TEST MODE?) does not light the backlights.
i do see 24v but 0v on PSON and BLON (i didnt write this down tho so cant be sure)
            with mb connected, PSON...
