Fading picture on Sony 48-WD 655 TV

Hello everyone on the forum. Electronics is my hobby, so please be understanding. I got a Sony KDL-48WD655 TV for free, which did not turn on at all from the remote control or the "on" button, after a long search for the diagram, I reached this forum where I found a diagram and a similar case with a person from the forum. Using the hints from one thread, I started the TV by bridging the TPC 8129 source with a 10k ohm resistor. The tv turns on and off, the "+" and "-" buttons aloud also function, which is broken in this section I would like to address later because there is another problem. After a few attempts to turn it on and off, an image appeared that at first was not there at all, but appears for a moment and then slowly begins to fade. All board voltages are 1.2V. 1.8V. 3.3V. 5V. 12V and 20V. 12V is applied to the matrix. I haven't disassembled the matrix yet, but I will in my free time. Please let me know what could be the reason for this behavior and if it makes sense to deal with tv at all. I wanted to hang the TV in the gazebo because it is large and energy-saving. I am attaching a clear photo the TV starting up.

    Sony KDL-65W855C mirrored, fading picture
    by mrsith
    Hi, me again.

Grabbed that Sony with 6 blinking lights. Easy job, especially that I had LED set. Replaced them, upon reinstalling everything and doing test I was shocked. The picture is upside down and mirrored. There is some fading effect on one side (4th TV in a row with backlight problem that turned out to have this issue as well...), and there are 2 black vertical bars. Touching side and bottom tabs doesn't produce any change at all.
The LEDs were taken from kdl-x857c, basicay same model. I transferred screen to its chassis to save time, but just in case of any incompatibility...

Hello, Last week I bought the 50" Sony X80j tv everything was working fine, untill I plugged the tv in a ups power supply 650va the tv remote control became unresponsive and the TV became laggy after a while the picture quality isn't the same as before the tv seems less brighter and the picture is somehow blurry, people's faces don't look as natural as before, there is a mini orange-pink tint to the edge of people's faces especially in NETFLIX Dolby Vision like in One Piece ep1 Alvida skin tone, my intention was to protect the tv but something went wrong I checked the ups with a multimeter,...

Sony XBR-85X950G Gray horizontal lines and vertical picture shift diagnosis?
    by noisykid
5.5 year old 85 inch Sony Bravia X950G started showing gray horizontal lines across the bottom of the screen and the picture shifts slightly vertically when it happens. The lines sometimes get bigger/smaller vertically and bounce back. See the video for the problem. It seems to be happening after it warms up after an hour or so. Happens regardless of source. Right now there's nothing but power cable connected and it's happening. We did hook up a new Nintendo Switch to our HDMI switching receiver today, and played for a while with no issues, but this problem didn't occur til a few hours later while...

Sony KD-75XF9005 grey Picture but Sound. TCON or panel?
    by iglitare
    Hi,

i want to repair a Sony KD-75XF9005 TV that initially only showed a grey picture.
Backlight seems to work, Sound (Setup menu after reset) works.
If i dissconnect the left FFC cable from TCON to panel i have half a screen on the right. If left cable is connected always only the grey screen.
Interchanged the cables, its always only the right side that is working. Always grey if left side is connected.
With my small knowledge i would think at least the cables are good.

Can this happen because of a bad tcon board?
Or is it always a bad/shorted...
