Re: Samsung UE50TU8070UXZT bootloop display problem
the problem is only on the right cof, isolating 1 ckv signal you get an image but not acceptable, unfortunately the panel has to be thrown away, samsung rubbishPosted a slide summary on Samsung 4K panel connections. Can help you understand what all the flex connection pins are

Re: Samsung UE50TU8070UXZT bootloop display problem
This document explains fixing CKV lines on slightly older Samsung TVs. It talks about strap CKV* and CKVB* pairs after disconnecting from the panel. Also possible connect them to GND or VOFF. This is more advanced than I understand. Just FYI

This video explains CKV* and CKVB* (B=Bar or inverted signal) are generated from the same source. I guess above author is expecting a fault before CKV/CKVB pair is generated. However, for these newer Samsung Panels, CVK/CKVB comes directly out of the single SOC on main so maybe no longer fault in pairs... I don't really know.

by alro7779Hello, everyone!
A co-worker gave me a 55-inch Samsung TV model UN55MU6103F so I can try to fix the following problem... As soon as I plug it in to the wall, the TV turns on, and the display shows a few stripes all over the screen. I took off the back cover and disconnected both ribbon cables that go to the display (one at a time) so by doing that I can narrow down the bad section of the problem, but in both cases the display turns black. I know there are some voltages that I have to check (VGH, VGL, etc.) but don't know what reading each has to show. If anyone could guide me on this,... -
by KYBOSHCame across a 75" QLED TV with restart-backlight no boot and it was headed to the dumpster. Asked the owner to let me have a crack at it. They said the TV went out during or soon after a thunderstorm. I noted this but didnt out too much stock into it as it could have been anything.
VERY big TV and i was worried about the display cracking during the moved as well as the repair but it was alright as i try very hard to handle with care.
In the video (zip file) you can see' as the TV tries to start up, tbere are a lot of gaps in the backlight so I immediately suspect... -
Hi All,
Need help.
I have a samsung un60j620dafxza led tv. When I plug it in it has no display, no sounds, and no standby lights.
So I opened the tv and disconnected the power to the mainboard and the backlight powered up. This according to many people says that this is a mainboard
problem. I checked the voltage coming from the stb and I read 1.3 volts on pins 1,3,5 and 7 which are low volts instead of 13 volts which i think the lcd panel
might be drawing too much power from the power supply that it prevents the right voltage going to the mainboard.... -
by RoccoladeHey everyone.
I have a Samsung QE50Q67TAUXXC (same as Q60T i think) which is experiencing constant bootloop. The picture comes on at first but then it begins to reboot again and again. I tried taping off the pins one by one on the ribbon-cable connecting the two panels at the bottom - and found that the bootloop stops when 1st pin from the left is taped off and the same if the 46th is taped off. (See picture). But unfortunately, I get no image on the screen in those cases.
The bootloop also stops when the whole right side is disconnected. Which makes me believe the problem... -
by Neptune06Hello,
I have a display problem (bad size and color) on a Samsung U28E590D and i'm wondering if someone have access to the service manual for this monitor. I used a faulty Lenovo thunderbolt hub connected to it and now i suspect a problem on the HDMI part of this monitor. The main PCB board part number is: BN94-10748G.
Thanks for your help.-
