Hello does anyone have a schematic of the bufferboard? or clear photos with resistors? I have one burnt resistor and one shorted smd cap.

Post a good clear picture of your buffer board.

The main thing is eliminate the short, I have replaced these caps with same physical size caps from donor boards, for resistor check the ohms of similar good resistors nearby, probably be the same.

The main thing is eliminate the short, I have replaced these caps with same physical size caps from donor boards, for resistor check the ohms of similar good resistors nearby, probably be the same.

I did this too and I had picture for 1 second and it went off

Ok, take that cap off again if you haven't and check the pads where it goes to see if short is gone if you have not already.

I have no short now. But I have to do investigate more tomorrow

And you are sure the donor was a cap, designator on board starts with a C, there are some components that look like caps but are not.

Recheck your solder work on the cap, was that with a new resistor also?

Remove the TVS protective diode assemblies and replace the resistor again with 100 (10 Om) - this is their disease in this panel and you will be happy.

Ah, ok, those rotten tvs diodes again, should he test them or just yank m out.

Remove the TVS protective diode assemblies and replace the resistor again with 100 (10 Om) - this is their disease in this panel and you will be happy.

I changed cap c1204 and resistor r086.

I suppose I need to take out 2 diodes d004 and d003
And other side too.

Yes, the resistors R075 and R086 mostly burn out, they must be replaced and the diode assembly D004 removed. The photo shows that R075 is missing.

I did not removed r075. Do you now the value? Is this 10ohm too?
And other side I only remove d004 too?

Yes R075 - 100 (10 Om)
Remove from both sides D004.

davi pee is/was always harping about how you absolutely must replace theses tvs diodes, BUT of course I wouldn't buy stock based on his recommendation, what does the rest of the brain-trust think?
