Re: Samsung QN75Q60TAF Boot Loop fixed but no picture
Without a jumper it gives out 3.3v (for spi flash), with a jumper it gives out 5v (for eeprom 24Cxxx), but if you make a mod (with 9 pin, only for spi, then it is absolutely impossible to put a jumper). 5v then goes to 9 pin and that's it - the chip itself burns out.
It was necessary to do the mod only with power at 3.3v without a jumper for 9 pin.Last edited by lotas; 04-19-2023, 06:19 PM.Comment

you should put the yellow jumper clip on pin 1 & 2 this is programmer.... and if you want to use the adapter as serial for log dump the jumper need to be at pin 2 & 3Last edited by Diah; 04-19-2023, 07:01 PM.Comment

U ribbon you mean..... if yes... this ribbon should be connected so because the board sandwich, it may the pins go to end corner of the display.Comment

Yes, I understand but I checked DT601/DT602 pin 5 to all the pins of connector of the U ribbon at each end of the board.Comment

Hmmm, @diah says use the jumper, @lotas says do not use the jumper lol. What do i do!?? At this point, I've tried all combinations and no luck. SPI is likely dead and if @lotas is right, the CH341 is dead. :SComment

i am talking on jumper pins 123 .... take look downside its printed pin 1-2 programmer pin 2-3 TTL also you need to short pin 1-2 with jumperComment

Re: Samsung QN75Q60TAF Boot Loop fixed but no picture
lotas talking on pin 9 of the IC dont connect it to 3.3V as some idiot on internet say... and he is correct dont .. just the red wire you did enough.

Re: Samsung QN75Q60TAF Boot Loop fixed but no picture
So I bought another CH341A just in case i bricked the one i have like @lotas suggested.
Now, when I get the new one, DO I NEED TO DO THE MOD (lift pin 28 of CH341 and run mod wire from pin 28 to the middle pin of 3.3V regulator)? From the datasheet of the SPI, I see it cannot handle 5V.Comment

CH341 has both 3.3 and 5v.: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...volt&_osacat=0Comment

Here are the latest drivers for the CH341A programmer.
CH341SER.EXE - self-installing archive with USB to serial driver.
CH341PAR.EXE - self-installing archive with multiprotocol interface driver (this is for programmer mode)Attached FilesComment

Re: Samsung QN75Q60TAF Boot Loop fixed but no picture
- OP CH314 still working.. this will never die or kill
- GD25B32C I/O NOR Flash had leak. not shorted
- DT602 had leak
all above 2 & 3 points caused by Panel cells / COFs
- end result T_con circuit on MB as ( nomoresonys ) expected but its toastedComment

Re: Samsung QN75Q60TAF Boot Loop fixed but no picture
So your opinion is that the panel has the problem and there's no way to fix?Comment

Re: Samsung QN75Q60TAF Boot Loop fixed but no picture
I think @diah is saying the T-Con circuit is toasted on the MB, do you disagree? New MB then?

I'm waiting for a new SPI Flash, should I also order a new DT602?Comment

by torchzackHi Team - just joined to see if anyone can offer some expertise in diagnosing an issue with a TV.
I've done a few hours googling and youtubing but just seeing if anyone has any insight here. I got a 55" Samsung UE55MU6470U which seems to boot loop and then after 10 mins will boot, work for a few minutes, then turn off and repeat.
Whilst it's on into the normal Samsung menu/boot screen it looks perfect - so I can't see there being any screen issues. I've seen lots of videos with taping across clock lines to diagnose which particular one may be an issue but i don't... -
by eigmaHi, I rescued a Samsung UN40H5003AF (H = 2014 FHD) from the curb. Symptoms are: standby (red) light comes on, stays on for 8 seconds, flickers off, then comes back on, and the cycle continues.
Service manual: https://www.electronica-pt.com/esque...is-u8la-71272/
SMPS board: checked voltages, all seem normal (A13V = 12.8V, UD = 3.3V, PWM_BLU = 0.77V, PS_OnOff = 5.5V). Remove 10p cable to main board -> backlight comes on. I think this means SMPS board and backlight are good.

Hello,
My Samsung TV had a black patch on the left side of the screen for a while. One night it shut off and then became stuck in a boot loop. I initially believed the back-light was the issue and replaced the LEDs but it still boot loops. I've since replaced the main board and the issue persists.
With the main board unplugged, it powers on and the back-light comes on. I've tried the tape method but I gave up as I don't know what pins I need to cover.
I suspect the panel itself it broken but have no multi-meter to test. Is it worth investing in one to test?... -
Have a Samsung UN50NU7400 which shows a boot screen and a screen saver if left on long enough but no picture ?
Would a moving screen saver confirm that the panel is ok or it could still be a panel issue ? -
by THXFXHi I need help with a Samsung un43nu7100 BN94-13191C/BN41-02635A with boot loop problem even with tcon jumper.
I've already try tape method and same happen, if I disconnect both flex from mainboard to panel tv boots normal even I hear Samsung sound.
When I solder jumper to make t-con work with or without panel or panel cables connected it still reboot or power cycling.
What I noticed is that there's no voltage in VHG, HAVDD, PANEL_3.3V, AVDD_17V or 12v near dc-dc chip.
I check capacitors and diodes and didn't find any short IN MAINBOARD.
Measured all power supply... - Loading...
