    ok, so are you saying that even without the tape in place that the tv works ok after warmup?

    Yes, I have try everything that can be adjusted, and either set them to OFF or lowest level. No difference at all.

    After 3-4 minute - the display will be perfect, regardless of the settings.

    Although if you could get it down that far it would be easy to apply a little pressure around the tab bonds and see if the picture clears up, of course while testing all the boards need to be connected.

    something to try, go into menu and try turning backlights very low, if no backlight adjustment try turning the brightness down, see if the double image changes any.

    could you show us the mainboards?

    did you warm up the mb with hair dryer then turn on ?

    Checked and can't see any significant differences between SB5150 and SR5200
    other than the voltages...
    Also can't find SB5150 from the usual online shops, so will just get 4x SR5120 to try out.

    Just want to be sure this is not a potential root cause:
    The shorted D751 was a SB5150 - a 5A 150v diode, and was replaced with a 6A 200v diode unknow brand from local hardware shop.

    Would this caused the symptoms observed?
