    Ctouch cla-65fhda1

    Hi everyone,

Currently I'm trying to repair a CTOUCH CLA-65FHDA1 interactive touchscreen, it's like an interactive schoolboard actually.
I'm not finding much information about this screen.

This is what I tried so far:
Standby light when plugged into AC is on (red)
Screen switches on with remote, stby led turns from red to blue.
Backlights light up very briefly (less than 1 second)
With a flashlight close to the screen I can see that there actually is some image being displayed (video/main logic board seems to be working, I suppose)
Power board is delivering DC power towards inverter board, around 24V if I remember correctly.

So far my troubleshooting suggests the inverter board (DARFON v351-701) or the LED backlights themselves need replacing.
How can I be sure, what is the output voltage of this inverter board?
I can't even seem to find any specs about this board.
Only thing I found so far is this:

    https://forums.arcade-museum.com/thr...87f3-a.447312/

As I cannot seem to find a replacement inverter board, there might exist another compatible one ?

    Thanks in advance.

Unlike a CCFL, LED backlights don't require high ac voltages so they don't need an inverter. More than likely a backlight issue.

Quote "Backlights light up very briefly (less than 1 second)" Classic backlight issue symptom.

An inverter also happens in led TVs (which converts from 24v to a higher voltage to power all the LED lines).

was referring to the separate much higher voltage inverters that ccfl tvs have.

            Goodmorning,

I came across this youtube clip:
            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNqRZ2qaDJY

This guy uses five 9V batteries across a 100 ohms resistor to test the ledstrips individually. As the connector on my inverter board is similar, I thought of doing this simple test as well.
On my connector there are four pairs of red/black wires, which suggests 4 ledstrips in total. But are they connected in series with each other, like in the video, I will have to check...

Anyway, like this I can be check that either inverter and/or ledstrip(s) are defective.

Also, I sent an email to the manufacturer (CTOUCH) to provide me with further information on where to order the inverter board and or ledstrip(s).
If they're willing to share that information with me, I don't know...

At this point knowing for sure that the backlight is indeed with leds and not CCFL, I can only make an educated guess that the output voltage of the inverter should be several hundred volts and not thousands like on CCFL's.
Assuming that the ledstrips are indeed connected in series with each other.

I will keep posting updates as I continue with troubleshooting.

Thanks in advance for any further advice or tips on this issue.

My inverter looks quite similar, I will take a picture and post it when I can.
Only, my inverter has four transformers, and two connectors in total. One for the input voltages and one connector towards the ledstrips. On this output connector there are four pairs of red/black wires. This suggests 4 ledstrips.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Looking for help with a Viewsonic VP230mb where the backlight comes on only momentarily
                  by lostone
Hello, I came here after finding some similar questions asked on other monitors and hope someone here can help me get an ancient Viewsonic VP230mp (23" 4:3 LCD) back to working condition.

First a little background, I have a background in computer and electrical engineering, and I'm smart enough to know I know nothing about LCD displays and how they work. For this topic I'm as green as they come.
When the display is turned on the viewsonic logo displays in the uppper left for 2 seconds then the screen goes black, the power LED is green (on) and when a computer is connected...

                  Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

                  More Details

Got the same exact TCON board from TVPartsToday and replaced it. But didnt transfer the EPPROM data (didnt...

                  Sony xbr-65x900c main board issues?
                  by jb_Bak
Hey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.

Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:
Power Board Connector that goes to Main board

                  Pin 01 NC

                  Pin 05 "STBY 3.3V": 3.5V
                  Pin 06 "GND": N/C
