Dps 250 ap power supply
Hey guys dell 790 power supply (Dps 250ap 24) was fuse blown i use bulb trick replce 400 v 150ยต capacitor and i was able to get +5v but i coudnt able to start the psu
Help pls

As for the problem with the power supply can you be a bit more clear, what does not work exactly?
For example some power supplies need a load to be able to start.
So you might connect an old hard drive or 12v car light or something you are not afraid of damaging....
Oh, and it might not be possible to start the power supply with a series light bulb because it drops the voltage too much..."The one who says it cannot be done should never interrupt the one who is doing it." -

Assuming "i was able to get +5v" means 5VSB is OK, did you try grounding the PSON# signal, the green wire in a standard 20-pin or 24-pin ATX connector? This would enable the main outputs.PeteS in CA
