HITACHI HVAC FS series RAS-10FS2 Power supply - identify diodes

    Hello everyone!

I am trying to repair a power supply from the outdoor unit of an ac and i cannot identify a couple of diodes.

The one is the zener diode ZD17 which connects to the base of the transistor and another couple of diodes.

The other is a diode with blue dot that it is used all over the board.

    The transistor is a 2sc3507.

Also the only think i can make on the zener diode is a very faint "A3" if that helps.

    Thank you!

blue dot is probably a fast rectifier,
ceramic bead package tells me it's probably 1-3A, but most likely at the 1-1.5A range.
    voltage - 50-1000.

that may not seen helpfull, but if it's not over 1A you can probably use a UF4007 to replace it.

I can't find anything on that zener "A3", similar circuits use about a 5 to 6 volt zener, so see if there are any other numbers on it. the other diode is just a fast recovery 1a amp is more than enough to drive the base.

        Thank you for your input!
Yep i just managed to see another digit using a microscope. So zener is "7 A3" which is 6.6V - 6.9V low leakage low, zener impedance.
The only datasheet i can find is from Edcon components.

I thought the diode was just general purpose, because it is used all over the board, and i was going to use a 1N4007! I will go with the UF4007.

What Zener Diodes on a Linear Power Supply
          by caspian
          Dear members,

I have a linear variable power supply with unknown brand name that I used for voltage injection.
Then it failed. I discovered that its transistors (Q1 and Q2) are shorted.
In addition, I discovered that its zener diodes are defective.
I can replace the burned transistors.
But I do not know the model of the zener diodes. the model number is not marked on the zener diodes.
Therefore, I cannot replace the zener diodes.
I do not want to test the zener diodes in a test circuit to discover their model or value.
          no schematics are available...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
          by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

          Assuming...

Desoldering gun station modified to use a 18 volt @ 20 amp switching power supply
          by sam_sam_sam
I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...

          Hitachi Power Supply Unit Interchangeability
          by navagator
I have a Hitachi 57F710E rear projection set with a bad power supply board. I've tried to fix it with help from this forum as well as another one, but without success. Today I found a Hitachi rear projection set for sale on Facebook that looked just like mine. After contacting the seller I found out it was a 51F510. According to the service manuals my set uses a HA01312, POWER UNIT DP4X-DM_24W and the 51F510 uses a HA01313, U901, POWER UNIT DP4X_24W.

Does anyone know if these 2 power supply boards are interchangeable?

          Thanks.

Motorbike PCB - burned Diodes ( PJ78) - help to identify identical or equivalent
          by magneh
          Hello everyone

Got a motorbike PCB that had 3 burned diodes.

The smaller ones have the marking PJ78 GS1M
And one larger one PJ78 GEX

Can someone help me identify them so I can be able to replace with same or equivalent?
