Hello, i've been building a custom variable power supply for a long time now.
How it works: i have a 12v 5A power supply which connects to a buck/boost converter giving me a voltage range of .8V to 29V.
Now time for the thing that i want to know.
The 12V 5A power supply has 3 1000uf 16v output caps all of them looks to be in good shape.
But it's the brand of the caps that makes me want to replace them.
Current brand of the output caps: cheng.
I have 3 UCC KY caps of the 1000uf 16v type leftover from my ATX PSU repair.
Thanks.
