One question : does f pole equal to f switch ?

I know that and I hate that headache, because it's good for learning and understanding but not earning at all..
Had you done any opto and TL431 before ?

It will relate with control system loop with feedback, bode plot ,pole, zero, aha so that's the way it works, return again to the math

    I got 207V , RL = 2K and f = 13.14 KHz, it's less efficient but it does the job..
and abit noisy with low frequency

    Read: Boost converter Operation/example.
You should get a generator to drive the MOSFET and vary the ON/OFF time to see the effect.

Those designs are basically has the same way with 555...
currently I'm using 700uH hand made inductor but I can't increase voltage anymore, stack on 185V on 5K RL,
I'm not sure, I will get a better result with those chips but I will give a try

... And how is that so different about the circuit in post #105?

    http://darkside.higashino.jp/resourc...se/chopper.gif

Wow, another PNP driving a FET.

The other two circuits, from post #49:

    https://www.birdandgua.net/bird/wp-c...05/image39.png
    http://www.mikrocontroller.net/attac..._180V_25mA.png

    The same basic topology. Coincidence?

PS: You can't have feedback without a resistive divider from the output, so... I'm not really sure where your question comes from, or what it's about.

You have at least THREE (now FOUR, with this last one you found) designs ready-made for you. What more do you want???

thanks for all the infos, this one is similar :

that's PNP transistor functioning as a follower for making FET switching faster

Is it possible only using 1 FET and resistor voltage divider for making MC34063 doing the step up ? if more than that, what's the different with 555, I got 220V with RL = 6K now..
my inductor is not perfect that's why the output is not good, a lot of flux loss
I have 8 inductors in series for 380 uH value.

Page 17 in the ST datasheet shows what's called a "flyback converter" and it indeed uses a transformer (or, technically, a coupled inductor).

"too many informations and making the whole point complicated..."

So, you DON'T want EVERY step that's needed to create and calculate the circuit you need, shown and explained to you. But you "want to make something simple", by magic? Just wishing it into reality? Or do you expect any of us to present you with a ready-made circuit?

Or.. you're really too lazy to even look into / use ONE simple equation, to figure out two resistor values? Seriously?..

Yes I don't understand MC34063 works, it's maximum 40V output and my target is 240V
    ST datasheet page 17

and it's using transformer, making it more complicated, I want to make similar with 555...

I haven't read that yet...too many informations and making the whole point complicated...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
    by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

    Assuming...

    Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74 power issue
    by GLISIT
    Hi all,

TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!

I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

A few weeks ago I was using the laptop (on battery power) for a Zoom meeting. The battery was running very low (long meeting) but I wasn't worried about...

Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 - no power
    by PantherDave
    Hi all!

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

Mitsubishi CNC switching power supply board dead / relay board bad diode failure

I was working on this CNC machine today found no keyboard functioning no control relay powering on
The screen powered on and was giving an operation error but the manual was not very clear about what the error exactly was but with a little bit of troubleshooting and finding out that the control relays not powering on and no keyboard functions we narrowed down to this one switching power supply which of course does not have any indicator LED light they are on the keyboard interface/relay controller board

Found shorted diodes on main controller relays there are 3 of them that...

Asus Z97-a power cycle, no boot no cpu voltage
    by meraklinetx
Hello, I have an asus Z97-A motherboard and it doesn't start which was working properly before, the problem isn't related by ram, ram slots or psu (I changed all and nothing work), the exact problem is when you switch it on , it starts and after 1 seconds (no boot or display picture) it's off and then on cycle continuously until you power it off from psu also it's responding to the power switch for turning it off if you keep pressing it 3 or 4 seconds (power button pin has 3.3v) , also when you start it with eatx 12v socket connected this is happening (power cycle also all voltages are resetting...
