    Antec Earthwatts EA-430 high 12V

I picked up one of these open box as CompUSA was shutting its doors in the Dallas/Ft.Worth Area. Its currently powering a non overclocked Intel Q6600, on a Gigabyte G31M-S2L, diskless as a dedicated folding box.

It works well and runs cool, but I'm concerned about the 12V rail. Under load, it reads a bit high on my multimeter. I'm getting 12.35 at the molex connectors, and 12.30 at the P4 connector. Onboard voltage sensor reads higher at 12.45. I know ATX spec is +/- 5%, but should I worry about it?

I'm also beginning to wonder if it was an early production model... none of the wiring harness is sleeved, and there is an extra 3 pin wiring harness coming off the 24 pin motherboard connector (connected to 5V, 5VSB and GND). Any ideas? Should I go ahead and try to get an RMA on it, or should I just live with it?

It's within spec, but like all Antecs, it will benefit from a recap of the secondary rails.
