    Solar Inverter - SMH-II - 2 missing capacitors

    Hello,
I need help to find the value of 2 missing capacitors ( C102 and C117) on my Easun SMH-II mainboard (solar hybrid inverter). I circled it in red on the close-up picture. The 2 old capacitors are completely missing, so I have no reference. Does anyone have this board and can tell me the value or make an educated guess based on the location ?

My model is : EASUN SMH-II 7 KW
    Mother Board : P/N 18947-002401250250
Maybe the EASUN SMH-II 4.2 KW have the same capacitors

    Thank you

How would these 2 caps go fully missing? Caps don’t unsolder themselves and fall out. Does this unit work? You can do always “educated “ guesses for a cap based on the height, size, understanding what their function are and what that circuit they are in actually does.

      Dear,

I thought the inverter had failed due to a battery issue, so I sent it to a repair shop.

They gave me a repair quote for 50% of the inverter's value, which I refused. When they returned the unit, I didn't check it right away. A month later, I opened it and found that two capacitors were missing.

I am certain they were removed by the repair shop since i took pictures of the motherboard before to give it.

I finally found a issue on the battery circuit breaker in my installation, so i think the inverter was working fine

      Thanks

Can you tell anything at all from the other picture that shows these 2 missing caps?

          Hello

Here 2 pictures of my PCB, one face and the opposite face, you see the missing capacitor footprint , and the capacity of capacitor arround, a tension regulator component 78M05.

          Regards

Can we see the pictures before you sent it to the so called "repair shop"? If the caps are for the 78m05 they are likely between 47µh and 100µf

Here is an approximately identical diagram, but the serial numbers of the components are different.
                Most likely 1000x16v

                  I wouldn’t put 16v caps there.
