    Copy of Antec Earthwatts PSU

I stumbled across this on my travels:

    http://www.ebuyer.com/612377-500w-bu...500builderplus

Looks remarkably like an Antec Earthwatts, wouldn't you say? And it has the convenient name "Builder". I daren't waste my minimum wage on it.

Just thought I'd bring it to your attention.

nope, back vents are different. on antec earthwatts they are square holes. however, antec basiq power supplies have those slit vents. on the other hand, the fan grill on the antec basiq are punched not wire removable

Yeah, it's garbage. Whenever you see "230V only" or "115V only" sticker, BEWARE! It means the manufacturer was extra extra cheap. If they weren't, they would have the courtesy to at least add a 115/230V switch. So with that sticker, I can only imagine how many other components were omitted from the original design (and by that, I mean a wimpy half-bridge design that was probably never meant to go over 250W).

CE certified? Maybe if CE means "Crusty Electricity"

Hahaha. Lol at the CE payouts.
I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

Antec Earthwatts EA-380 smd element type/value
                  by sirpsychol
While recaping Antec Earthwatts EA-380 I've broke one side of unknown smd element, it have no print, it's flatter and darker than smd capacitors on this board, shaped more like resistor but it's not resistor ofc. Unfortunetly the printed description was under it and element was glued to the board so I cant read/tell the letter before element number too. Have anyone any idea what it is? Maybe is there any diagram of this PSU?

Copy DMI info easily with Hex editing software and Macro script
                  by SMDFlea
Copying DMI information from an old bios to a new one is difficult for some members, often they have no experience with a hex editor,or some that have tried find it too hard. There is an option to make things easier for those members so that they don`t need to post their own bios backup for the DMI copying.

Experienced bios modding members can help by posting in other threads the DMI offsets, macro script generated by the software and a download link to the software at softpedia mentioned in this guide,or post your macros in the comments here with a link to the bios request thread ....

                  by Caimano
UPDATE of JANUARY 5th : I am cancelling this post because problem has been solved by creating a new bios starting from the old one with correct dmi and cleaning ME. everything works fine . thanks anyway

Hi, I am replacing a motherboard circus-6050A2723701-MB-A02 to an HP 650 G2 laptop because the original one was faulty. I bought and repaired a used MB which works fine now with its BIOS, but I wanted to copy the DMI data from the old to the new MB. I created with Flash Image Tool a new bios starting from the old original chip , cleaned ME region and new updated dump region extracted...

my question is there any method to disable copping form all shared folders on this server, but jest disable copy form server not paste on it.
my client want his team copy from their computers and paste on any shared folders on server, on the other way can not copy anything from shared folders to their computer.

Topcat's Supermicro X10DAI Build - Plus NVMe BIOS Mod Inside
                  by Topcat
Yes, I know I don't post this stuff much anymore....the only reason I'm posting this one is because of a NVMe adapter incompatibility; seems rather planned by Supermicro.....or I'm atleast a bit suspicious. It's plenty new enough to have a UEFI bios but a short 'happy list' of NVMe controllers that will work with this board, as if by some 'miracle', all Intel....so lets start at the beginning; we'll get back to this later.

Of course the motherboard is as the thread title states; X10dai....but we'lre going to have some fun shoehorning this into a modern 'gamer case' that can actually...
