    Aopen Z400-08FC PSU?

    Hello,

A few days ago i bought two 350W AOpen PSUs without knowing the exact name / model no.. My hope was that they were build by Fortron like my old 300W PSU.
Today i recieved the parcel and i found out that i bought two "Z400-08FC" PSUs.
The PSUs have the following specifications:

    +3,3V: 20A
    +5V: 20A
    +3,3/5V = 130W max.
    +12V1: 10A
    +12V2: 13A
    +12V1+V2 = 276W max.
    +5Vsb: 2.5A
    ATX 2.2
    Rohs
    PFC (passive)
    20/24Pin
    80mm fan

I looked inside of one of them and found many Teapo, Capxon and one Ost cap (1x 3300uF 10V).
My Question is: Who build this PSU and is it of acceptable quality?
I cant find it at Aopens website, possibly because it is an OEM/bulk PSU.
Perhaps someone can tell me a bit more about this PSU?

If the UL# is E135662(to be found on the sticker) the OEM is indeed Fortron.
I have been told a number of times that Aopen cases are bundled with FSP units.

I took two photos with my digicam.

        It starts with SPI.

SPI = Sparkle Power Inc = Fortron

            Sparkle Power International LTD.

FSP/Fortron owns Sparkle. Note the UL#.

Thank you all for your quick answers.
I cant find an UL# code on the sticker, only a P/N:56.04400.A310 and S/N, but if SPI means it was build by Sparkle/Fortron, then its Ok.
Everything i need is a PSU with at least decent quality.

the aopen 350w units i got a while back are fortron.they were pulled due to +12 being out of spec.
grabbed them before they hit the dumpster.they have fuhjjyu on the secondary.
now to recap 40+ psu when i get time......

Testing ATX PSUs under load - Does loading the ATX 24 pin also load EPS & PCIE?
                  by AJ847.63e
                  Hi Folks,

Just wanted to clear up a misunderstanding of mine (or what I expect is one). Isn't the 12V rail from the 24 pin, EPS and PCIE separated? IE if I put a power resistor on the ATX 12V pin that is not going to load, thus tell me if the EPS or PCIE rails are fine?

I was recently watching ArIs from Hardware Busters video on how to properly test ATX PSUs without using 5 figure Croma substations.

The PCB adapter he used breaks out the 12, 5 and 3.3V pins from the 24 pin and gives you banana plugs to connect to. That is a bit useless is it not? Aren't...

How to build this little device please for my campervan security
                  by iotaa
                  Hi,

You will probably find this funny, and it is, but it's also a project I'd like to take seriously.
I have a campervan and I'd like to avoid thieves to break in it when I am inside it or not.
For this purpose I imagined a simple device that can play a sound based on a vibration detection (in case of intrusion attempt) or by pushing a button manually.

The sound wil be a growling dog, which will deter any thief, thinking there is a big dog inside the van
This sound can be manually triggered by me if I'm inside the van, or played automatically...
