Bad CapXon KF series in OCZ 750W PSU

As the title states I have an OCZ PSU which is not working due to what I suspect are some bad CapXon capacitors. This unit came from my home server which I had not turned on for roughly a year now (though it did work just fine when I shut it down last). Cleaned out all the dust and whatnot inside and went to turn it on, nothing, spent about an hour removing everything to bench test, nothing. Looked through the PSU fan grill and sure enough the one capacitor I can see has some yellow crust on top. Crap, just wasted an hour.

Anyway, strip it apart to find that there are a few capacitors swollen or with yellow crust on top, all of which are CapXon 2200 microfarad 6.3V capacitors.

Relevent specs pulled from CapXon spec sheet are as follows

    Capacitance: 2200uF
    Voltage: 6.3V
    Size: 10x25mm
    Ripple: 1470 mA, RMS @105C 100kHz
    Impedance: 0.95 Ohm = 95 mOhm @105C
    Lead Spacing: 5mm
    Temperature Rating: 105C

Since I cannot find an exact replacement I was wondering what I would be able to get away with. I can easily find the same Capacitance, Voltage, and size but most of the ones I find have more ripple, less impedance, or both.

Here is the actual spec sheet.

Answered my own question thanks to this thread

Looks like basically the same thing, only a 600W model, but it has the info I need. I shall do a search next time! Thanks for the help, glad I'm not alone in my OCZ failure.

Looking for best replacements for Capxons, but can't find data sheets

Recapping the power supply board for a Samsung 305T monitor, everything is Capxon except 2 Rubycons. I can't find data sheets matching these online, so don't know what ripple numbers, impedence, etc, to look for. There are a few different looking GL series data sheet PDFs, but the listing that matches the capacitance and voltage is a much bigger case size. I've narrowed down selections with lead spacing and case diameter, and what's in stock at Digi-key

      Cyberpower 1500AVR UPS repair
      by quickname
I'd like to start out by thanking this forum for providing the info to be able to repair my 15 year old CP1500AVRLCD UPS. Here is all the info I gathered during my trouble-shooting and re-capping.

Like clockwork, I've had to replace the SLA batteries every 4 years. It was about that time and the UPS was acting like it needed new batteries... randomly shutting off with AC present, not being able to charge fully, and poor runtime when AC was removed. So, I replaced the batteries but noticed that it was not charging properly.

I decided to verify that the batteries were...

      Picking caps for Antec SU-380
      by ajdrenter
In my search for a proper 5v heavy ATX power supply, I selected an old Antec SU-380 that I've had in storage for a long time. Opening the power supply reveals a couple bulged capacitors. I removed all the caps and made a map for myself. I found the datasheet for the PCE TUR series in this thread:
      https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=14159
It says these are general purpose, so I assume I can replace them with any general purpose capacitors, but I don't really know anything about power supply circuits or reading capacitor datasheets. Despite this, I've been shopping for replacements:...

Acer Ferrari F-20" monitor display interference and replacement capacitor selection
      by ADV
      Good day everybody

I hope I'm posting in the right section - I am new to this awesome forum.

I have received an ACER Ferrari F-20" LCD Monitor to repair.

It produces interference lines on the image displayed and slowly rotates across the whole screen, with respect to the center of the screen. One rotation takes about 4 minutes and the cycle repeats over and over.
For some reason the On Screen Display Menu is not affected when switched on with the Menu button.

I opened the external 18V power supply and see no bulged capacitors...

KingWin ABT-650MM 650 Watt ATX PSU [PCB: SW8835REV:A]
      by momaka
For today's thread, I have a KingWin ABT-650MM ATX PSU. Official web page with the PSU specs is still up and can be found here:
      http://www.rmac.kingwin.com/products.../abt_650MM.asp

I just can't help it when I see a broken / for parts PSU on eBay that's listed for cheap and looks at least somewhat interesting. Well, OK, I won't lie – on the outside, this PSU looks anything but interesting. It's a plain gray box with colorful “spaghetti cables”.

What mostly drew me into buying it is its 2x PCI-E power connectors...
