And if I go to ASI's website and pull up all of their MGE's, the ones I can buy are either Wintech or Seventeam models.
Okay... Apparently MGE is whoever. Because I just got a couple lowend aluminum models here that have a UL number from Skyhawk on them.

The companies I know to be using Topower for sure are Globalwin, BeQuiet, Epower/Tagan, Vantec, A+GBP, Athena, OCZ, Scythe, and 2themax.
Actually... Before there was e-Power/Tagan, Vantec, A+GBP, Athena, OCZ, Scythe and 2themax, Topower did in fact make TTGI/Superflower.

So much so, the power supplies actually said TTGI TOPOWER right on them. And they were sold through case manufacturer Superflower. Hence TTGI/Superflower.

I don't know when this changed. But it was true as late as 2002.

And back in 2000, 2001, etc. when we were selling TTGI Topower power supplies, you could see an undeniable similarity to Enermax, right down to the fan and fan grill.

But times change. Superflower now builds their own and Enermax doesn't even look CLOSE to anything Topower makes. But it is interesting that Enermax branding is deep inside their units. Right down to the IC's on the PCB's that have "Enermax" silk-screened on the top.
Rest in peace BFG. You were... a job...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
      by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

      Assuming...

Vintage AT Power Supplies - Selecting Capacitors
      by iMic
      Hi,

Back after a long hiatus with some old power supplies that need repairing. I've recently picked up a couple of 386SX systems, two 486DX systems, a SiliconGraphics Indy and an iMac G3 that either have verified leaking capacitors in their power supplies, or are likely to in the near future. For the sake of simplicity, instead of tackling all at once, I'm starting with the 386's and one of the 486's.

The 386's power supplies are Seasonic SS4040A's, with caps that are visibly leaking, and 9 replacement caps per unit are required. Most appear to be from the Rubycon...

Hello, I have an asus Z97-A motherboard and it doesn't start which was working properly before, the problem isn't related by ram, ram slots or psu (I changed all and nothing work), the exact problem is when you switch it on , it starts and after 1 seconds (no boot or display picture) it's off and then on cycle continuously until you power it off from psu also it's responding to the power switch for turning it off if you keep pressing it 3 or 4 seconds (power button pin has 3.3v) , also when you start it with eatx 12v socket connected this is happening (power cycle also all voltages are resetting...
