    Re: NKL Caps

    Welcome, Rob!
I have never seen this brand before.
What is the manufacturer of this board with this brand of capacitor?
My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.

      Thank you very much!

The mfg. wont help very much, its Falck Securitas. A company making security systems in DK.

      Its a 4 Amp powersupply, 3 A for load and 1 for recharging 2x 42Ah accku's.
They used this NKL brand, Panasonic and Vishay. I know the last two brands, very good.
I haven't seen any PB's with several PSU's with this NKL brand. I'am just quite puzzeled with the name. I've bought some new Vishay BC Components ones to replace with.
If anyone knows this brand, I'd be happy to hear about it.

      Edit:

Reason for replacing, is i don't know the brand, but other caps on the board are Samsung and Cornell Dubilier CEBM series, and i've seen some of these fail, also using the cheap rubber "bong"

Have an actual company name or a link because all I can find [which isn't much] points to China.

              Re: NKL Caps

There are only 6 good brands vs about 100 bad ones, so when I see a brand I've never heard of, I always assume it's bad.
I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards
