Hi. I have the same problem here. Long story short. Bought the laptop from a fella who said it pluged a Toshiba adaptop in an went booom. Indeed after opening the laptop the 2nd imput mosfet had a hole in it. Replaced it, but now i'm stuck with this. The laptop responds to the pwr_btn long press and shuts down. I usually work with the board outide the case and i swapped a few ram but no change. If i plug the fan nothing, if i plug the HDD nothing but if i plug the optical drive (cd drive) it works. It opens and everything. It even charges the battery and works of of it. I did a few resets of the bios but same result. Green light nothing else. I never reflashed a bios so i don't really know how to do it but i will learn, do it and leave feedback. A few questions: 1. Why would the bios get corrupted if a msfet blew up? On this board, wich one is the bios chip? 3. Does any1 have the actual schematic of this board and could share it?
