Re: Macbook pro M1 A2338 820-02020 schematics boardview
Finally finished the task of creating the board view file and cleaning the schematic pdf
So if you find any error please reply here and will see if a can and/or want to correct them. ( 1 SIDE NOTE the ic UP102 and components are not on the actual board but are there to connect the signals)
So enjoy the hard work.

by silver60618Hi gang, I was hoping someone could help me. Im working on a A2338 Macbook, with torn off standoff posts for the connectors shield. The laptop works, but gets no trackpad/keyboard/haptic functions.
It looks like it just sits on a ground plane. The PPBUS_AON Pins are recieving 12v, pp3v3 present. I dont see any traces going to these pads or near vicinity.
Any ideas what I can check? Any help would be appreciated.... -
by OruxHi all,
I’m new to the forum and could use a bit of help. My name is Tom and I have a problem 😅
I bought a MacBook Pro M1 and also got a second one for spare parts. The seller told me it had a small water spill. After opening it, I found four spots with corrosion on the board.
One of those spots has damaged components — I’m not sure if they’re capacitors or other SMD parts. I’ve already cleaned the whole board with isopropanol, which made the other areas look fine. But could those damaged caps be the reason why the MacBook won’t power on?...6 Photos - Loading...
