Please read the beginners guidelines to ID your motherboard.There will be a silkscreened part number on the board somewhere (in white) .Post that part number here or take pictures.

Look under the motherboard black plastic sheets for any silkscreened markings .

So the hyphenated string of numbers and letters on the board isn't correct?

That's Dell product number. Motherboard model number probably starts with LA-, may be under a sticker.

mb part number is near ram slot. Lift the two stickers near ram slot.
