Dell XPS 9560 LA-E331P Boardview Request

Hey guys - I was cleaning the fans on my Dell XPS 9560 and managed to do something to my motherboard. Laptop worked fine for the rest of the day but wouldn't turn on the morning after. The flashing LED diagnostic code indicates that it's a power rail failure (3 amber, 5 white flashes).

I'm pretty new to mobo troubleshooting, but it looks like I need a boardview for the LA-E331P motherboard in order to track down the faulty power rail. I'm assuming my thumb disrupted some sort of connection, or maybe some precipitation from the compressed air can I was using ended up on some component. Does anyone have the boardview (and schematic pdf)? Googling for them hasn't worked for me.

Also, let me know if I'm posting this in the wrong place. Haven't used these forums before!

Re: Dell XPS 9560 LA-E331P Boardview Request

Thanks for the link! Forgive me, because this is my first time ever working with motherboards. Don't I need a .brd file as well as the schematic to start diagnosing which power rail has failed? Otherwise, how am I supposed to know where on the board the components corresponding to that rail are?

I don't think it's a boardview for this model..to start by checking the base voltages..19V, 5V, 3.3V, you can find it on the coils, they have a marking on the motherboard ...

Dell E6400 PT434 type Battery Charging Stuck at 1%. Battery Pinouts?
            by Bowline
My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell...

DELL Optiplex 5070 SFF - schematics and boardview request
            by MMH3
            Hello,

after seraching a long time i not can find a schematic or boardview for the DELL Optiplex 5070 SFF. gen 8/9 CPU

The numbers on the mainboard i found and searched for are:

            Dell P/N
            CN-0YJMC0-FCW00-04T-00QR-A02 (white sticker)

            further i found
E93839 and BN0628 (printed on the board)
But those two seem to be a kind of general numbers.
Because i have“this E93839 on many boards here from the SFF 30xx/50xx/70xx series and they are all really technical very different boards, showing the same E93839
            The BN.. number...

Lowest possible resistance on laptop motherboard rail - Guide Table request
            by Nagy Daniel
Hi, I'm Daniel, and I'm new to the world of repairing motherboards.

I would like to create a table, or more likely a guideline about the voltage rails and their possible resistance rail.

I know that the motherboard design has a very big depend on the rail's resistance, but I would like to know what is the smallest value for a rail that can be acceptable. For example, I heard that some new gaming motherboards can have 0,5 Ohm resistance on the GPU rail, but on an older type, it could be a sign of a shorted GPU rail.

So, I generated a table with AI so I can...
