Thanks for the link! Forgive me, because this is my first time ever working with motherboards. Don't I need a .brd file as well as the schematic to start diagnosing which power rail has failed? Otherwise, how am I supposed to know where on the board the components corresponding to that rail are?...

Hey guys - I was cleaning the fans on my Dell XPS 9560 and managed to do something to my motherboard. Laptop worked fine for the rest of the day but wouldn't turn on the morning after. The flashing LED diagnostic code indicates that it's a power rail failure (3 amber, 5 white flashes).

I'm pretty new to mobo troubleshooting, but it looks like I need a boardview for the LA-E331P motherboard in order to track down the faulty power rail. I'm assuming my thumb disrupted some sort of connection, or maybe some precipitation from the compressed air can I was using ended up on some component....
