there must be a short somewhere in the board, i usually replace the control ic that is connected to the mosfet if the mosfet goes bad just a suggestion. hope this helps..

visual check where the mosfet is connected and try to clean it.. i have an experienced in board connectors that is ok when you check it without power but shorting out when you put power on it. specially boards that is thin or boards that was liquid spill damage. hope this helps..

did you check for short? placing negative prod of your tester to ground and poking the mosfet or parts around it with the positive prod. maybe there are still shorted mosfet around it. use binocular microscope if available or just a magnifying lens with strong light.. happy hunting!

is this mosfet that shorting out part of the supply for BGA ic that is heating up? there is something shorting it out when power is applied. visual check it again..try to look from the shorting mosfet connection..and what it supplies the power to. there is a shorted component else where hope its not the bga nvdia.. try again till you get it..

The Question how many volt when injecting?

Many people got mistake when injecting 19V rails with high volt, if one of High Side/ Upper Side fet shorted between Drain to Source, then directly voltage goes to COILS/OUPUT/LOAD side. (Maybe CPU, CHIPSET, RAM lines--- ~1V-1.5V)
