HP 17-e040us 3.3v at power switch no boot. Schematic?

HP 17-e040us 3.3v at power switch no fan and will not boot.
    Anybody got a Schematic?

The 3.3v pulls down on pin 3 but I can't trace it any further... all caps in the zone are good. No apparent corrosion or liquid damage.
I found a couple of questionable sights selling so called schematics but after review i do not trust those places.

Thanks for any incite. This lady can't afford a MB so i'm trying to see if it is even salvageable.

    Thanks

Make sure you use the correct power adapter.
    Check for 3.3V/5V at PL22/PL24.
You could try to backup&flash both SPI ROM.

    Schematics attached.

Thank you very much, I REALLY appreciate the input and the schematic!

I am on hold right now my customer has informed me she will be buying a new laptop and only wants me to transfer her data. They usually allow me to keep the old system in lieu of a discount so if she does i want to do board level repairs. I will re-post if and when i start back on this one.

Very appreciative to all you guys!

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
        by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

        Assuming...

Dell AL440LX power on switch circuit help required
        by Powderfanupnorf
Hi Everyone. First official post so fingers crossed I conform and also manage to get photos to work.

So I am requesting some help from anyone who happens to have one of these motherboards to hand and perhaps a multimeter.

My board has a single row of header pins for all the front panel stuff (have seen others where they are grouped together differently so thats no help) and the two pins for the power on switch had been previously repaired and I am trying to make a better repair. There looks to be pad and trace damage and im happy to relocate the header pin/pins to...

NEC TurboExpress On/Off Power Switch Replacement Help
        by grimacelord
        Hello,

I've been working on a NEC TurboExpress and I accidentally got the plastic inside the power ON/OFF switch too hot while doing other repairs and melted it. At first, it would still power on when sliding the switch, but you had to really press inward while sliding to get it to work.

I removed the switch component and tried to gently melt the plastic back so it would work more reliably and all I managed to do was make it worse.

I need to find a replacement On/OFF switch for this, but having some trouble figuring out which kind of switch I need....

Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 - no power
        by PantherDave
        Hi all!

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

Bang & Olufsen (HP) Omen Laptop power light flashes once but no boot
        by dicky96
        Hi guys
I have a B&O Omen laptop here. It has very specific fault symptoms, hopefully someone can give me some guidance

If I plug in a known good 180W third party charger the little LED next to the power jack on the laptop flashes red once, but the laptop will not start. It will not flash red again unless you unplug and reconnect the power.

If I remove the main battery (I can't see a cmos battery) then the led by the jack does not flash when I plug in the adapter, but if I press the power on button with adapter attached it flashes once white every time...
