the two resistors in the picture are broken. What are the resistance values?

Take a clear photo of the board section with the code of your board and I will tell you the resistance of the missing resistors

You didn't understand me. I'm interested in the area with the barcode highlighted in red, the label indicates the code for your motherboard 16S61/xxS

Hi Rezistor, it looks like you have access to schematics for this series. Would you happen to have the schematic for MS-16S61 36S that you could share? I have a boardview but really need the schematic.

I'm trying to troubleshoot my grandson's dead Prestige 15 laptop. It's negotiating a 20V PD power rail which I see at the input mosfets, and consumes a steady 20ma which leads me to believe at least the LDO standby is alive. It looks like the main board voltage is 12V, at least that's the +VBATA at the battery connector and +VIN at the TPS51285B LDO regulator (PU21). But the LDO regulator isn't working, I'm getting 0V on the VREG3 (+3VALW) output and 2.6V on the VREG5 (+5VALW) output. The +3V and +5V switch outputs are 0V as well. I'm also getting 2ohms to ground on the VREG3 pin which isn't a dead short but pretty low, and likely explains why the output is pulled low. This low resistance exists when the LDO is removed as well, so it's not the LDO itself that's partial shorted. I'd expect 2ohm resistance on the CPU power rail but not at the +3VALW? +5VALW resistance is ~35Kohms, which seems okay. The TPS51285B datasheets says that VREG5 turns on when VREG3 reaches 2.4V. Since VREG3 is 0V, I'd have expected VREG5 to be 0V as well, not turn half way on, but maybe that's normal.

I've changed the LDO regulator already, cleaned the pads, reflowed, etc. and can't get it to work. It's also missing capacitor PC217 on the VREG3 output (I originally removed and then lost it) but a missing decoupling capacitor shouldn't be causing this issue. I'd still like to replace it, I expect it's a 10uf or 22uf. The schematic would be helpful for this too.

The boardview has been helpful in connecting things, but without part numbers, values, or voltage rail references I'm flying a bit blind here. Having a schematic would sure help nail down some of these questions I have.

                    Thanks in advance!

Schematic vs. Reality: Where Are the Resistors on My Sharp Clock Radio? Model FY-70CH
                        by TinkerTron
                        Hey everyone,

I'm currently working on a mid-70s Sharp Electronic Digital Clock Radio, Model FY-70CH. I found the service manual online, printed it out, and have been studying it for a while. My main reasons for tackling this are: (1) I want to learn electronics and figured I'd start with something I had on hand, and (2) I want to fix its issues. Right now, the radio sounds awful, has about 5V DC at the speaker terminals, and the alarm time setting doesn't work. But I'm not asking how to fix these problems.

Instead, here's what's been bugging me so far:
                        The schematic...

Alienware m15 R5 Ryzen No Power
                        by Green Probe
Hello, I have an Alienware m15 R5 Ryzen, P109f002, with motherboard GDL56 LA-K453P Rev:1.0, Ryzen 9 5900HX, RTX 3070. I got it due to it having liquid damage. I am quite new to chip-level repair, and this is my second post, so please be kind with my incompetence. The charging IC is an ISL95522ah in HPB mode as far as I'm aware. I've been using a schematic for a LA-K455PR10_0525A that is available in the forum, and it seems to match for the most part. If it's okay I can link the schematic, or insert the pertinent page into my post.

It had some crusty areas that I've cleaned up....

                        Acer x163w Monitor PSU schematic
                        by atunguyd
Ii wonder if anyone can help me. I have a Acer x163w monitor which is not powering up. The PSU main capacitor's one leg had completly come off - I replaced it but the PSU is still not outputting DC. I found the monitor in questions service manual here on manuals lib but the schematic in there is a completely different - the schematic shows no mosfet to drive the transformer while the one I have does use a mosfet - also the schematic shows only one optocoupler but mine has two.
The PSU board is labelled FM-20A02-AAA made by APD as per the image below. I am trying to find a schematic for this...

Reverse engineering of 18650 4-channel tester
                        by spleenharvester
                        Hi friends

I have reverse engineered this tester, schematic is attached and is complete except for capacitor values. These testers annoyingly have no model number but they are the ones you find on the first page of just about any website if you type in "18650 4-channel tester". There is also a 2-channel variant and a newer 8-channel variant. They are very cheap (about £15) and can measure voltage, current, internal resistance and capacity. They have a multicolour display for all these statistics. They also have terminal blocks so that if you want to use a breakout board...

MSI Ventus RTX 4080 16G Broadview schematic needed
                        by Thetechdude
Hi guys, I'm working on a MSI Ventus RTX 4080 16G. The GPU has 12v, 5v, however what I assume is the 1.8v rail has 1.1v and what I assume to be PEX is 0v. As you may have guessed already there is no Vmem and no Vcore.

I have looked around in related forum posts for a schematic so Much appreciated if anyone can share a Broadview schematic.

                        Thanks.
