go to, Troubleshooting TVs and Video Sources
click blue box on left of page near top, that says new thread

Hy! I have a bad Dell Latitude D810, vhen I`m pushing the power on button, it doesn`t give any sign of starting. The motherboard type is Compal LA-2671 EBQ00, does have anybody a schemaitc about it? thanks.

i had 2 days ago a dell 510m that power up for 3 seconds the shutdown (the standard problem)

it turn out to be the connector from power button.
if you got the power from the keyboard try another keyboard or check the connector.
maybe maybe
