Hi guys,

need the schematic for a toshiba satellite L650 Bl10 UMA rev 2
Ive got no post, powers on ok, reballed the intel gpu/chipset (symptoms pointed out it could have been that but still the problem persists)..powers on ..no post...changed the cmos battery...i need to check the bios chip but need the schematic..have no clue which one is the bios chip..please help..

Yes, as i said before it powers on ok...no post (no display). Symptoms are for a bad soldering gpu chip...but reballed twice..so i can rule that out.

Thanks for the reply Francisco..ive got that schematic (BL10G) but the board is BL10 its an older version rev 3...not BL10G.. the markings and chip numbering is different..there might be some components in common but they have different markings...thanks again!

I took a second look and i found the chip..it seems they are similar..the schematics..thanks..ill check it to see if the chip is damaged...it does not post..powers on ok... thanks again!

If bios chip have data corruption, the only way to know, is de-solder it and reprogram with new good data.

Ok...back to this project...abandoned due to unabled to fix....
So it powers on, stays on for 20 secs..then powers off...then powers on again...its a power loop of 20 sec duration...

i removed the bios chip and rewritten it with a newer version of fd...no change.

Can anyone help please?
Could this be a power failure or a bad cap...as i said before..i removed and swapped 2 bga chips (intel) because i thought it was a gpu fault but no improvement.
The bga gets hot though...after 15 secs of power...this model seems to have poor heatsink system...the bga has no copper shim or heatsink!

please help with a hint.

once again: no display....power loop after 20 sec.. could this be a power issue? tested and battery is charging.

Ok...back to this project...abandoned due to unabled to fix....

that could be bad CPU, try swapping with a known good one

already did...i have experience..ruled out ram..cpu...bios chip.

well what happen is that a abnormality is beeing reported to the KB and KB is shuting down the mobo , so i would go for the main thing , chek all S0 when pressed ON (chek all coils and report us voltages present .) after that we can start rulling out some outher options , but does values would be very apreciated to help you out !
