auuuu. that's the stupid part, I didn't backup old one. I've been lucky with bios chip flash...this is the point I learn backup everything. I will try flash again before I call it dead.

Winbond 25q64jvs if that's what written on the chip in your Pic, so that will be your bios chip.
Now as I see your main problem was bios password, and after you used a bios from official website the laptop doesn't work.
What if you program back your original file, the laptop works or not?

hi, I got a laptop with bios password, so I want to get rid of it...
I open the laptop and found this chip which looks like bios chip to me

1. I tried all two bios, the laptop can't boot now, fan not running.
2. the ch341a I use works for sure, I flashed two devices bios with it today.
My question is...this chip in picture is that a bios chip or what should I flash in...

Long story short:
- dad converted Asus Chromebox CN62 into Windows compatible, with mrchromebox BIOS, years and years ago
- gave the computer to his son a couple years later
- son now decided to revert it to Chrome OS, to sell it as original (re-writing BIOS with the backup one created by his dad)
- too lazy to remove the board from the case, thought a voltage regulator was the BIOS chip (you know... it has 8 legs)
(seems like the story was not that short)
He used alligator clips to read the chip. No luck reading it. Removed chip and placed on a SOC-8... -

I have a very strange issue with the BIOS SPI chip of an ASRock B650M PRO RS motherboard.
The SPI chip is an Winbond 25Q256JWEQ model (1V8).
The motherbaord doas not POST - it lits only CPU and DRAM EZ Debug Leds, and stays that way forever.
The Flashback function of the motherbaord is also not working, despite all instructions followed correctly - I'm 100% sure of this.
I have then desoldered the chip, backupped the contents, and tried to earease the chip in order to program stock image, but the chip is locked by status registers SREG2 (TB) and SREG6... -

With ASUS, not everything is quite so simple. I will show you my way. It may be longer or harder but it is the right way to do it in my humble opinion.
For example, you can have 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all being the same model, all of which will have different BIOS versions.
I will give you an example and my version of preparing BIOS from ASUS website and in the process I am always cleaning Intel ME while doing it so you have fully cleaned BIOS, no DMI data, no password, nothing.
