Lenovo nm-d031 onboard ram disabled bios

Hey guys,

I've tried to disbale onboard ram on NM-D031 thru bios editing.

I dont have this board on my table, so cant test it.

I request anyone who is working on this board to try this bios and give feedback.

If it is succesfull, i'll share the knowhow on editing bios to disable onboard ram(Unlike many other members who use this knowhow to make money)

Hi friend

don´t work for me. My board GS454/GS554/GV550/GV550
Rev: 1.0 NM-D031
2019-12-06

4 MB on board with many errors with memtest.

With your bios no display with memory compatible in socket (and not display with ram onboard only ) and consum always when power on is directy to 700mA and no change.

BIOS Memory SPD Removal Tool

Good news i use this software and disabled ram onboard in NM-D031

where to use:

1- read bios with programmer
2- open this software ( Bios Memory SPD Removal Tool 1.6 )
3- plug the bios into the window
4- mark all and click in the button that say "CayE<2¿"
5- Then generate new bios file in the same folder
6- program with this bios and ram onboard is disabled.

I confirm that bios at post#1 dont work. So dont waste your time with this bios.

but on monitor working fine
