Hi, still after some help - is there a procedure on how to edit these files using a hex editor? Happy to learn - I have searched the forums and haven't found anything in the Wiki.

          Cheers 😊

Awesome, worked a treat, thankyou so much.

Are there any guides for being able to modify these?

              Thanks

                                            Hello everyone.

I have come here with a rather specific question. I was given a Dell Latitude 7420 laptop with a busted screen, and wanted to see if I could refurbish it into my daily driver. I wanted to experiment and see if a 2-in-1 display would work as the chassis of the laptop and 2-in-1 7420 looked identical. I threw in the display and my hypothesis was correct, however, I was greeted with a locked BIOS and since I didn't know the password, I figured I'd try to unlock it somehow. Dell Latitude E5550 - Strange Internal LCD (BIOS?) Issue
                                            by Eradicatus
I have a problem with my Dell Latitude E5550 laptop, in particular with its display.
This laptop has been sat under my desk (unused) for quite a while and I wanted to reinstall Windows and use it for some ad-hoc testing.
However, I am struggling with the display, which is playing up.

                                            1) When the laptop is left switched off, after switching it back on the internal LCD does not work. No images are displayed at all - no DELL logo on POST, no messages, no Windows desktop. But I can hear that Windows starts up correctly, so no issues with the rest of the system - must be...

                                            Hello,
I have a Dell Latitude 5420 stuck on the Dell Security Manager message on startup, I can't do anything.
Here is my BIOS and what I assume is ME (32MB for BIOS and 1MB for ME).
If someone could remove my BIOS password for me so I can reflash it afterwards.
                                            It's an 8FC8.
                                            ST/SN: JSJW5D3
                                            Thanks.

                                            Hi,

My Dell Precision T7910 died after enabling onboard SAS controller and applying RAID settings. There were no hardware changes between working and not working state, only setup (via bios -> controller settings). After applying settings and reboot PC turns on, flash leds (normally) but there's no further action, it just stays on with no graphics and no keyboard led's on. There's no Dell logo, nothing. I've tried resetting bios by jumper, replacing cpu's, replacing ram, removed/replaced cmos battery, disconnecting all drives etc. I've also dumped .bins from mobo chips SLI1 (16...
