The problem was solved with the help of NM-D562 schematics

Hi, I have an NM-D231 board that has a 4ohm short on the 3v line. From what I can see it originates from the IT8227VG IC (UE1). If i replace this IC does it need reprogramming (as mentioned above), if so, is there an idiot's guide to do this?
it was my fault, i accidentally shorted an IC down by the battery connector whilst testing for voltages... any help is appreciated.

U can programm the chip in that case via i2c. The problem with those chips are u need to look for another number, L00x at the bottom of the chip, there is info about this in Vertyanov telegram channel
