Where did you guys get the flash bios step by step?
I regrettably updated bios thinking it was safe and now i'm stuck on self-healing boot loop.
Before flashing, i believe I checked the backup bios in the gui before flashing. I can grab this file from my windows drive can i use this backup to reflash?
Any help greatly appreciatedComment

Hi guys. Can you in someway repair this bios file? Its died after update and now only black screen when powering on. I tried with another "semi-matching" file on this forum, and it worked, but model name and serial number not matching.
So maybe you can fix it to its original/updated bios?
Thanks

by TecnicaNTTHi all,
I got a Lenovo Thinkbook 16P G2 ACH on the bench with a botched BIOS (somehow my client blanked it). I restored the laptop and got it up and running with original BIOS from Lenovo Support website.
My problem is now that the machine details are missing in the BIOS (Serial Number, MTM, etc.)
I tried to write the details with the Lenovo Uone Tool but had now luck. It is giving me an error: "ERROR: Locate protocol with LenovoEeprom, Status=[e]. EEPROM fail when reading or writing data."
I am now asking here for help if anyone knows how to do this in...-

by Habble7The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.
Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to recover a Fujitsu Lifebook E5513 (most likely 2023 model) that was bricked during a BIOS update. The update was interrupted (probably due to power loss), and now the laptop is stuck in a boot loop showing "PBB rollback" / "SBB rollback" messages.
BIOS access (F2) and Boot Menu (F12) are no longer possible – the system instantly reboots after the rollback messages.
I extracted the official BIOS update package from Fujitsu (contains FJNB2FD.CAP, ~18.7 MB) and tried tools like UEFIExtract, but it seems to only contain...-

by hyperwoodHi everyone,
I’m looking for a 2 MB BIOS dump for a Lenovo IdeaPad 5 16ARH7H / Legion 5 with mainboard NM-E471 Rev. 2.0.
The BIOS chip is a Winbond W25Q16FW (1.8V, 2MB) and it's completely unresponsive / bricked. I tried recovery via USB but no success. Now I want to reflash it externally using a CH341A programmer.
I already found 32MB dumps (e.g. from Vinafix and Badcaps), but they are too large for the chip – and the last 2MB in those files are just FF FF FF....
✅ What I need:- A working 2MB BIOS dump
- Matching NM-E471 Rev. 2.0, e.g. JY575
