Sorry but just cleaning the ME region does not fix the TPM error, only replacing the TPM IC helps, anything else is nonsense .....

                    Hi there!
                    I have a Dell Latitude 5420 / ST: FC2JQF3 / GDF40 LA-K491P / Rev: 2.0 (A01) / 2020-11-16 / i5-11 model.

My client told me it ran out of battery while updating BIOS (yes, it did) and now seems more like a brick.

I have some doubts about this one:
It charges using a USB-C plug adapter and I have an asymmetric power source to see the consumption.
I don't know if I can plug it in 20V.
When plugged on 5V and when I try to raise it to 20, it turns out on 7V.
The original adapter is here with me, but It only shows a tiny white light and it's working fine.

                    I tried:
                    • Flash BIOS (UC2)
                    • Flash EC (UT7)

                    None of this worked.
But the behavior is always the same, before and after flashing: when I plug the adapter (5V), it consumes a variable amount of energy: 0.40 / 0.52 / 0.61 / 0.30 and keeps variating.

The original BIOS is attached here and also the EC.
I also added the boardview.cad and schematic to help.

Can someone help me to find the solution?

Dell Latitude E7270 - Requesting BIOS clean/corrupt? service tag CB00KC2
                        by TripTop
                        Hi

i have dell latitude E7270 with following symptoms:
                        - takes long time to restart.
                        - sometimes powers on and then off
                        - sometimes while working it just dies,

From googling online bios clean could possible resolve this?

i was able to save bios and was going to try bios clean myself but get an below error when i drop it in ME analyzer.(unsure whether this sometimes occurs or could be due to bad/corrupt bios)

As ME analyzer gave me an error i just decided to write bios with a cleaned bios from E7270 bios post.
                        I reinstall...

                        🛠️ MSI GP75 Leopard MS-17E71 – No Display, Deep BIOS/EC Troubleshooting
                        by macabook
                        Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
                        🧩 Initial Issue
                        • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
                        • External display (HDMI) shows
                        ...

3 amber 3 white blinks. Dell website sais it's problem "bios recovery" and suggested solution "recovery image not found"
                        (from here https://www.dell.com/support/manuals...e7a&lang=en-us)

I try plugging charger while pressing ctrl+esc, machine turns on, nothing and after 20 seconds it gives 3 amber 3 white blinks again.
