Hi,
I did dump of my EC chip and removed Nvram region to remove password. Worked fine, except now I get HP endpoint error every boot.
I have original dump of EC, but I never made dump of main bios yet (I can if needed), I also updated the BIOS to newer version since then. Does this mean I just have to deal with it now? Or can still be fixed?Comment

Hi guys,
i have looked everywhere for a way to unlock this bios but seems only G2 ITL has a way to be unlocked ( witch i thought is the same) , but not this model. Also i have looked for a hardware way for unlock.
Did anyone had success to unlock this model?

The device is based on NM-F871 motherboard with Nuvoton NPCK397 series controller. The motherboard also contains three BIOS chips: two different Winbond chips for main BIOS and external EC flash, and also a Gigadevice chip which purpose I do not know. The password information is contained directly in controller and thus can be manipulated by reprogramming it, so reprogramming BIOS chips is technically not required, however you may wish to make... -

Dell Inspiron 5775 bios locked "Unlock Setup fail"
After generating the Password Recovery code, I go to the “Security” tab - “Locked Settings” - it says “Unlock Settings? I tried many wrong passwords and it shows an error to unlock settings [ Press any key ].
What I did:
I read the bios dump.
Downloaded the bios update to 1.6.0 from the official Dell website, extracted the dump from it, updated the bios, but the problem persisted. Please help me to solve the problem.... -

hp 8570p and also a hp8470p bios locked cant get rc unlocker to load/work error messages same with hp unlocker.
cant seem to find hpunlocker now, ive tried downloading so many things and trying them, wasted 8hrs already.
