I have a laptop here that crashes randomly. I tried flashing with the bios from post #2 and everything seems well. The laptop started updating the bios straight away, so the customer probably had an accident during update.
      Could somebody fix this bios?

Due to a lack of donations, server free space at a critical level, and possible closure of Bios Requests all donations are welcome, click:

          Thanks for your effort.
I've had unstable success with this bios. It's hard to boot to windows. Once Windows runs all is fine. But it has a hard time posting. Getting checksum errors followed by some power cycles and then it might boot stable again.

I did inject the original data between 220000 and 22103F in 083C4. Do you have a clue what might have gone wrong?

remove the bios chip from the motherboard before writing or reading..

              Hi Peste,
I only read/write with the chip straight in the programmer.

I injected the dmi and winkey into the bios from post #2 and the laptop runs smooth.

HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec2523nd - Dimm2 slot disabled after corrupt bios repair? Advice requested.
                  by Bloodhoundje
                  Hi everyone,

I have been doing hardware repair as a hobby for some years now and recently decided to learn about repairing laptops as a fun challenge.

I managed to get my hands on a "HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec2523nd" notebook that only shows a white power LED and doesnt respond to anything.

After initial testing I concluded the bios seems to be corrupted since all voltages are normal and there are no shorts. HP has a feature for a bios restore from USB with winkey+B for this model. This did not work.

I have desoldered the bios chip (GigaDevice...

                  🛠️ MSI GP75 Leopard MS-17E71 – No Display, Deep BIOS/EC Troubleshooting
                  by macabook
                  Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
                  🧩 Initial Issue
                  • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
                  • External display (HDMI) shows
                  ...

[Problem/ Request] Bricked TongFang GK7MRFR BIOS
                  by cr4zychriss
                  Hello everyone,
I am requesting urgent assistance to unbrick my laptop, a rebranded TongFang GK7MRFR chassis. The laptop is completely dead following a faulty in-OS EC flash attempt.
I have successfully used a CH341A programmer and can read/write/verify both flash chips, but using my backups/extractions has failed to restore power. The root cause is likely a corrupted Intel Management Engine (ME) region or an incompatible EC/BIOS pairing. System & Hardware Details

Need BIOS for HP Pavilion 15-n058sr recovery - Caps Lock blinking twice
                  by sssssssssssssss
                  Hello everyone,

I'm dealing with a classic BIOS corruption issue on an HP Pavilion 15-n058sr and hoping someone here might have the original BIOS file or point me in the right direction.

                  Symptoms:
                  • Laptop powers on but no display at all (completely black screen)
                  • Caps Lock blinks twice with a pause, then repeats continuously
                  • F12 LED stays on permanently
                  • No POST, no boot sequence, nothing on screen

Based on HP diagnostic codes, the 2-blink Caps Lock pattern indicates BIOS corruption/failure.

                  What I've tried:
                  • Hardware reset (battery removal, power

ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo UX8402ZA BIOS
                  by pirati
                  Hello everyone,

I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.

When the laptop arrived (without a charger and SSD), I connected a charger and confirmed with a multimeter that it was charging the battery. However, when I tried to power it on, only the backlight of the secondary display came on. There was no image, and it didn’t boot into the BIOS.

I decided to try flashing a new BIOS, but since I didn’t want to desolder...
